The family booked the place out for a wedding and all amenities were comfy, so clean and the staff were so lovely and cooked a stunning breakfast. You have to stay. Good old Yorkshire hospitality. The locals are also so friendly. We will definitely be back!

Very nice country pub with very nice room and bathroom. Comfortable bed with nice linen and very nice facilities. Food very good with good menu and the breakfast was well presented. The bar was cosy. The wifi was free and the car parking was across the road but was no problem.

A lovely room with great views. The bathroom was spot on. Warm, friendly, clean and lovely location. Staff very helpful. Only down side is they don't serve lunch, but plenty of other locations nearby for lunch. Breakfast was great with a varied of continental and a full English breakfast. All round a lovely, quaint B&B in a beautiful location -...

We stayed overnight during a 3 day walk (St Hilda's Way). The room was really quiet and comfortable and we were made very welcome. We also had dinner in the pub which was freshly cooked and excellent.

After a long walk at Danby, you just want to sit down and have a beer! Sitting in front of the open fire with a pint of 'Saltwick Nab'...What else could you ask for? Have been to the Duke many times before and will continue to...Nice work!

Warm, Friendly, Helpful, Clean, Great Value, nicely appointed, lovely quiet location, great food and good beer. The staff are so helpful, i arrived on a motorbike and as the inn has very little parking they asked a neighbour if i could park in their yard so it was not on the road.Perfect! I stayed for one night and couldn't have...

A beautiful and very friendly pub on the North Yorkshire Moors. Here you can escape the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Danby and other local villages. We stayed with our 2 dogs for 2 nights and we had one of the 2 rooms they allow dogs in which have a back door so you...

Thus was our 2nd stay at the Duke. Our room was at the front and had a view down the village. The rooms are beautiful and spotless, the en suite has a huge shower cubicle and again spotless. We ate our evening meal here as the food is delicious. Homemade and good choice. Sadly not enough room left for pudding....

A quaint old typical English pub with old style accommodation. The welcome and atmosphere in the bar is typical warm Yorkshire hospitality. No request refused, the locals and visitors all chat to each other, the range of food , with great pies and desserts, are good, as is the wine selection. I'd stay again, not expensive, in fact good value...

We stayed at the Duke of Wellington for 3 nights in March 2017. We were using it as a base for a walking holiday on the North Yorkshire Moors and along the coast. It was perfect for this purpose. The people working in the pub were all really friendly and helpful. The bar is a very cosy place to recover...
