I am an easy person and I adapt myself to everything just laughing about it.. and this is what I did here but one night there is actually enough! I should probably just be thankful that someone keeps it open and so I could visit the Mount Bromo but the room was cold and humid..even the provided towels and blankets!... More

If you're visiting Mt Bromo and getting up for the 3am jeep procession to the sunrise viewing point, the location of this hotel is hard to beat. Comfortable and spacious room with a large terrace and second bedroom. Views to Mount Bromo when the weather is clear. The dining room serves reasonable food and having tea/coffee making in the room... More

We arrived at the beggining of peak season and for dbl room paid 750000Rp -which makes about $75AU. The room awfully dated however linen, underneath of dirty bedcover was clean. Bathroom had warm water however water pressure was very weak. The attached restaurant had mix of western and indonesian food but the only amazing thing about our dinner was, how... More

We choosed the lava view for our night at Bromo. Hotel is ideally located on the top of the caldera. The view from the reception area is great. No view from the room but it doesn't matter, as you arrive there at night and leave for Bromo at 3 am. Room had hot water and was warm enough. Restaurant is... More

We were consumed by clouds in the car park, and there was a chill in the air, but the warm reception from the folk at Lava View was excellent. The food our large group enjoyed for lunch was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and very welcoming.

This is a great location to get a view of Mt. Bromo and perfect for getting up early to see the sunrise. As expected of a rural area, the rooms were very basic and a little dim during the evening, but a nice contrast from the busy cities. WiFi is only accessible in the lobby/reception area. Make sure to pack... More

The room was cold ( but tea was available), the toilet leaking ( so avoiding showering was not working to avoid wet feet) but the experience and the view did make that all up. If you like comfort, stay away. If you can take some discomfort, just make sure you are dressed against cold and dust and you ll enjoy... More

Perfect location if you're waking up early to go to Mount Bromo. However the room we had was dark, cold and damp. We both had to wear a jumper and socks. Also the shower was warm, not hot. The breakfast was ok.

Not a great start as they had given our family room to someone else but they had a triple left and put an extra bed in their so we could all fit in, as it was only 1 night and we were only in there a few hours it did'nt matter to much. Breakfast was good and a great view... More

I'm only assuming there are better places to stay here, maybe that's the norm. We arrived at 9.20pm and told too late to eat. Eventually found a small local place that gave us some rice and vegetables for 90,000 rupiah. Bedrooms were spartan with a strange of our. Went out for sunrise trip at 3am so barely used it. Location... More
