Bromo Terrace Hotel & Resto is a hotel with fabulous design, with impresive services. Our hotel well located 9 km from Bromo sea sand, surrounded by hills and refreshing plantations.
The accommodations were cozy, comfortable and reasonably well maintained. The surroundings were immaculate. The coffee house was a gem and the set breakfast served was generous and mostly tasty. The hotel staff were excellent. They were motivated and well trained. Most of them spoke good English. There is not much in the area of entertainment at the resort. It's more for those who seek a quiet and peaceful place to spend the night. The traffic noise is definitely a problem at certain times but this is the same for most of the hotels and resorts in this area. For us city dwellers, do take note that there can be a lot of bugs when it rains but this is expected given the natural surroundings. There are a couple of cafes and a provision shop nearby but that's about it. Overall, it was a pleasant experience for us.…

We stopped there for just a night before climbing up to sunrise trekking to mount Bromo. Since we arrived later in the night, we asked for room service and we got spring rolls, Tempe and fried bananas. The tastes were not that good, but we were hungry. In a nutshell: I spent the whole night vomiting and by boyfriend has experienced annoying stomach issues (not funny to explain, if you know what I mean), and we lost the opportunity of the morning trekking cause our health status would have not allowed us to do so. Later in the morning, we let the staff know about the issues occurred, but they still made us pay for the so-called dinner. Furthermore, nobody in the staff properly speaks English, and it makes communications much more difficult. Take away: if you want to actually go to mount Bromo, avoid this place.…

We had a decent stay at this hotel. First impressions, this place is an old cottage style of hotel. Typical a modernized and simple Javanese architect. The view was great especially from the second floor dining area. The parking lot was small; only fit for around 7 small or medium SUVs. The room was kind of small, but has a spacious bathroom and has a small terrace at the back with two seats. Bathroom amenities was okay. The wifi was decent. Please note that there was no real wardrobe nor safety box inside the room. Since the hotel is cottage style, this hotel is not recommended for any guests using wheelchair. Also, please ask for umbrella at front desk, especially during rainy season if you don't want to get wet hanging around from room to room or to lobby. The food in here was just decent in term of taste, but the price was ridiculously expensive. The location of the hotel is somewhat far from any convenient stores. So, judging from the location, facilites, and price for this hotel, it was definitely just decent. …

This was a fourth visit..Been here with friends and family. A simple, nice, and homey hotel with less than 20 rooms. The food are simple, everyday food but cook with high standard and tasty. They served ala carte breakfast personalized to your liking. No wonder everything here feels right. The owner always here to personally take care of the guest. The staff are very helpfull and friendly. A five stars nest.

I really love this place, it is so comfortable. I enjoyed the weather and the mountain scenery from my Hotel. The room is clean and spacious. No kettle provided but hot drinking water is available at the lobby. About 5 minutes drive to nearest convenient shop, but hotel lobby do sell some snacks. There is live band during night time at the hotel restaurant.

This place is perfect as stop overnight on the way to Bromo. It’s clean, nice with little bungalows surrounded by nice walkways and landscape. The restaurant has a nice terrace overlooking the mountain and the food is good. Staff is friendly and nice as well.

It's a very good small hotel. Staff helpful, very good food although with a limited choice. Hot water not running very well in both our room C1 and C2. They clean the room well. It's a good place to sleep before you have your sunrise trip to Mt Bromo.

Great little place, and certainly different, up in the hills with minimalist cottage style rooms. Shower was great. The staff were excellent, with good English, and lent us warm coats for the volcano trip. We bought hats from the doorstep seller, but didn't need them. As others have mentioned the food could be improved. Good place to stay for Bromo Volcano

This hotel is very recommend for your trip before explore Bromo. The location is not far away from Bromo's entrance. It takes 30 minutes to Pananjakan 1 spot. The road condition still acceptable when you drive Sedan Type, but after this hotel, it's better not to go up. The staff is very friendly, the food is yummy. The room is standar but without water hot pot, but the hotel provides the hot water 24 hours. Overall, I recommend this hotel for your Bromo Trip
