Stayed a night,pricey,(750rb) for a deluxe room, room came with what seems like a 14 inch tv which cannot be viewed from the bed as it was installed too high up. When i arrived, there were locals standing outside, glaring rudely and followed my boyfriend and i into the lobby. One of the guy kept his distance very close and... More

Positive: -) good breakfast -) view is really nice -) close place to Bromo (if you are doing a 4-days-tour you are the last one to be picked up and therefore you can sleep longer) Negative: -) almost no hot water (neighbours had to use the water boiler to finish their shower) -) children beds (My boyfriend got the "Bob... Rooms are overpriced (550krps for standard) while aging and dirty. There is no sheet so you will be directly sleeping under a dirty blanket unless you brought your own (nights are cold there). The bathroom was the worst. Restaurant is OK and has a stunning view on the volcanos. It offers convenient and reasonably cheap transportation options (200krps to Yogja).

I stayed here for a night and had a great experience as you can hire the jeep from the hotel to go to Penanjakan for sunrise and the crater. Later if you want to go to Savanna or Sea of Sand, you can hire ojek for reasonable price. From the hotel you can get a perfect view of the mountain.... More

This accomodation was part of a three day trip to Bromo and lake Ijen. We arrived late in the evening and left early the next morning. But the few hours spending at the hotel were enough to discover the shortcomings in the room. The beds were spacious but full of staines, the bathroom was outdated and filthy and the staff... More

This is basic accommodation, with limited hot water, thin towels provided. We stayed there - only to go photography Mt. Bromo. IF anyone is picky about place, don't stay here. Java Banana is a much nicer (and pricier) option. If you want a place to crash, and near Mt. Bromo, the views from the hotel are 2nd to none. Don't... More

This is one of the main hotels bookable through tour agencys. The rooms are pretty basic and only the Deluxe rooms 401 and 402 get views of the crater. There is a small viewing platform with concrete seats and tables which has amazing views. The staff answer questions, but aren't overly helpful, and as soon as you arrive you are... More

I came here cos of mount bromo- I want to be there in the mountains at the earliest time and back to hit the sack in the shortest possible time after my overnight shooting. This is the place you can do that. Don't expect anything more than a layover for a couple of hours. Take rooms away from the construction... More

My group came with a hired driver and they selected this hotel for us. I paid 450,000 for a single room. Room is old with wooden decoration (not a problem for me. Quite like it as it gives you a remote-mountain atmosphere), bed is ok, bathroom not that clean but was enough to get by for one night. TV not... More
