The location is ideal, however it may be hot during a heat wave. Lots of activities to do around, all organized by the hotel. Would have been nice to be able to light a campfire some place near the hotel. Great spot to relax.

The hotel is very beautiful in the country style. There is a lot of fun to guests. The rooms have beautiful views and are very comfortable. The restaurant is very good. This hotel is an hour and a half from Montreal. I enjoyed the days that have stayed at the Hotel Sacacomie

Let me start by saying that I was hesitating to quote 3 or 4 stars. Finally I decided to go for 3 for following reasons. The hotel is somewhat outdated and needs an upgrade. Spa is at extra cost and children under 15 are not allowed (which was annoying for us because my youngest daughter is 13). The indoor pool... More

I should probably start this review by saying we had decided around 4 years ago that when we did a tour around Eastern Canada we would definitely stay at this lodge and indeed once we had made that decision we asked our travel consultant to build our trip around a three night stay here for some R & R in... Wow, what an outstanding place! Especially since we flew in via helicopter! Was totally surprised with the quality of the service and food, would have given a 5 star but you can see that it's getting a little old and in my opinion needs a little refreshing, again nothing major but just a little TLC:) Placed was pretty busy and... Thank you so much for your great comments about our food and our location. We are very happy that you enjoyed arriving by helicopter. Please don't hesitate to come see the view over the lake again. It will be a pleasure to welcome you for another boys trip. Rachelle Larivière rachelle@sacacomie.com / 819-265-4444 More

Stayed for two nights in a large lake view room with balcony. Although the hotel is a bit tired and very rustic, (lots of animal skins on walls and stuffed animal decorations) it is in a fabulous location and the food is plentiful and very good. The electricity went out due to an electric storm and the hotel still managed... More

We stayed here for three nights as part of a two week touring holiday and it was probably the highlight of the trip. The location is fantastic the views lovely and the food very special. Included was a full buffet breakfast and a four course dinner every evening. The food was exceptional. There is a large and comfortable terrace and... More

We visited this hotel on recommendation, with high hopes. However in June, the hotel was not really ready to receive visitors. Our room overlooked the lake, and the view was stunning. However there was no shade, and the afternoon sun was so hot, we could not use the balcony. One. of the hotel's main attractions is the lake and the... More

I had heard from my boyfriend how great this place was when it first opened in the late 90's. Fast forward quite a few years later and that same boyfriend is here right now at the hotel with me and we both agree that the view is amazing but that the service is lack lustre. Don't get me wrong! We... More

We went by this resort just to have lunch and try the landscape. Lake was still frozen: it seems armies of windlings could emerge from the trees any moment... The food was really great, the staff was very nice. Just go
