This hotel makes a great first impression, but then disappoints.
The first impression is a beautiful exterior, a pleasant welcome at the reception, lots of cats around and the beach is very close.
But after a day or two, the unpleasant and rude behavior of the restaurant and bar staff starts to get annoying.
For the first time in Greece, we were surprised with the restriction of alcohol served in bars.
The hotel has quiet hours, so you can't even play table tennis in the middle of the day.
The selection of food in the restaurant is small, high-quality. Minus - there was no fresh fish in two weeks ( isn't Samos an island??:) ).
We got a room with two terraces. The room was good quality and clean. The hotel area was also clean and tidy.
However, if you are looking for a peaceful and quiet rest, you can choose this hotel.

Grade weak third. If you want a budget all inclusive then ok, but the food was no big deal, that there is red chicken and turkey on several occasions for example. Almost the same food for two weeks gets a little boring. The bar's all inclusive is almost a joke, four different drinks, two made from ouzo and two from their kagnac, then cost other. Beer in small 0.25 glasses and max fetch two at a time you wonder why. Wine was also available, but do not we drink so no opinion. National spirits vodka, gin and rum should at least be included
The pool areas quite ok, the beach right below the hotel not to recommend, but 4+500 away quite ok. As a football fan you went to watch a couple of games in the evening and good food and beer at the restaurants.
The room we had was quite ok, 224, but absolutely no coverage there, however good coverage and wifi by the pools.
Staff nice and fast.
The weather saved our weeks even though the wind blew a few days.
The island seems fantastic but will be something else next time.

I booked travel to this hotel in January this year. After that I read a lot of reviews here and elsewhere and there were so many negatives. I was a bit skeptical but the trip was already paid for so we went. Came home after a week's stay now a few days ago. Everything was perfect! For being a 3-star hotel, they work as hard as they can to ensure that you are satisfied. The room was simple but ok. Cleaning every day. The food with all inclusive was super good, and they changed a lot every day so he didn't get the same taste. Service in all areas, what a super, nothing to complain about. People who have complained a lot about this hotel don't understand that this is a 3 star hotel, not 5. Then it's a bit simple over all, but you also don't pay too much to stay there. FINISHED!!

Stayed for a week with all-inclusive!
It looks nice when you arrive at the hotel!

We arrived when there was about 30 minutes left for lunch, so up with bags in the room then down for lunch, and the food was tasteless and the drinks were barely drinkable!
But we were hungry so we tried to eat and the staff basically stood and watched us so that we would finish!
Everything would be ready when they closed at 3pm.

The drinks under all criticism as well as the wine.
Also a small selection of drinks on offer which is free.
After 11 pm everything costs.

During the week we have had breakfast at the hotel and lunch and dinner in town as we gave the hotel a taster but that we did not like it.

One day I handed the keys in at the reception because we were doing different things.
When we came back, the key was missing at the reception, whereupon they say that I have misplaced it and that it will cost us €300!
And that the reception has never lost anything.
But they agree to watch the film as I know with certainty what time I handed in the key.
After discussion, I get to borrow an extra key to the room, and they call after about 30 minutes and say that they found the key and that I can come and get it!
No apology or that they bothered to come up with it for us!

The rooms are okay with hard beds.
We have a view of the pool and the sea from our room!
However, a disadvantage as they have live music a couple of days a week until 11:00 p.m.

Was very disappointing.
The food was not tasty, a bit of a soup kitchen idea and much tasted the same.
Rooms were ok but the beds did not have good mattresses. Slept poorly as a result.
Weird rules at the pool, the kids were not allowed to jump in the pool and there was a very grumpy lifeguard enforcing the rules in a very relaxed manner. If you had eaten an ice cream or cookie you were no longer allowed to enter the pool.
Every afternoon from 5:30 PM the pool was closed and you could no longer swim.

The Kids Club only had entertainment for the little ones, the older kids aged 7+ also had to entertain themselves with baby songs (kids disco). My sons thought it was boring.
Furthermore, the reception was unfriendly and not very service-oriented.

Kampos Village Resort is a mediocre hotel. The 2 rooms we had were very dated. In addition, the pool water was not clean. There was daily green deposits at the edge of the pool and even after that was cleaned, this was there at the end of the day. All our swimwear is also completely green from this. With one of our daughters the pyjamas had disappeared after cleaning the room and after inquiring at the reception was only told that it was not found. No further apologies or other actions. Finally, we found the people on Samos very welcoming but we clearly did not experience that at Kampos Village. Fortunately we only had bed and breakfast, because there are many nice restaurants nearby.

A very nice hotel composed of many small buildings. 3 different swimming pools. The food is a plus, every dinner is prepared live. Several special/regional dishes different every day. Of course, 70% is repeated, but this 30% is enough to fill you up and satisfy you. All inclusive also includes free alcoholic drinks with meals. The hotel is located on a hill, you have to walk a bit from the main street. There is a large grocery store right at the entrance to the street. Rooms clean, cleaned every 2 days. The service was nice and helpful. They helped with our stay with our 1-year-old child without any problems. There is also a small playground at the hotel, but it is in full sun and can only be used in the evenings. There is a large parking lot right next to the hotel, and there are many car rental companies in the immediate vicinity. The 3* of this hotel is much better than some 4* hotels.

An intimate, atmospheric hotel, located on the slopes of the mountains in a friendly town. Clean rooms and hotel grounds. Three pools to choose from - different depths. Good food, large selection (all inclusive). The service was very nice and helpful. Very close to the beach, just cross the street and there is a super market on the way to the beach. Beautiful views of the mountains and sea. Possibility to rent a car, scooter or bicycle - there are several rental companies to choose from close to the hotel. There are many pubs throughout the town (a very atmospheric family restaurant, Anna's Restaurant, to the right of the hotel). In September, peace and quiet, I recommend it.

As long time greece travellers... this Hotel has the lowest quality breakfast we ever experienced. Same for the drinks at the pool bar.
You are forced the wear a plastic wristband (to distinguish breakfast only, half board, full board). These bands are very annoying. They also have sharp edges and my son hurt himself with it when he scratched his face while sleeping.
Rooms are out of fashion but okay. Beds are not very comfortable. Bathroom very small.
Towels and sheets are changed twice a week. On sunday no room service, only the rubbish bin gets emptied.

The Kampos Village Resort is recommended, the staff are friendly and helpful.
Everything is clean and well-kept.
The food was simple but OK.
The only thing that bothered me personally was that a lot of the dishes had cinnamon in them, but that seems to be how Greek cuisine is.

Hi, does this hotel have table tennis and sports gym?
Answer from Dragan M
Odgovoricu vam na nasem jeziku. Hotel je uzasan. Bio sam tamo u junu. Najbliza bolnica je 50-60 kilometara. Prljavo posudje, case i solje. Pozdrav
