The location was great. It was easy to find with google map. The staff were very hospitable and friendly and they always look out for us. We were swimming in the smaller pool as there were wedding preparations on the other side and the "waterfalls'" effect on the pool was not on

Hi There We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed yourselves at the resort. As you noticed, we are not only renovating, developing and expanding into adjacent sites across and upriver, but also in the range of our facilities. On our Island for Team Building we now provide a 12 section Low Rope and Trust Initiative Challenge Courses (see www.puntarivieraresort.com); and, as you noticed, by Easter this year our new Slide and Obstacle Swimming Pool will be ready for action. These are being linked to the resort by our riverside/mangrove walkway and hanging bridge via our expanded Don Quixote restaurant and a new large conference hall will be included. Senior officers from DOT advise that they are not aware of any other beach resort in Western Pangasinan offering this type of diversity of tourist facilities. Last night a lot of our guests enjoyed dancing and singing to our full live band that is playing 6 nights per week at our Roadside Rotisserie with expanded menu such as pizza and pastas offered by our new Chef Jo Jo in addition to our traditional Filippino/ International cuisine. Our Wifi coverage and strength is currently being improved together with the doubling of our Solar Energy capacity to 30kW and our school with new teachers has more TESDA courses for local walk-in graduates and local K2-12 schools. Our farm with dragon fruit plantation, indigenous wild boars and native chickens has been moved to accommodate this expansion. The resort landscaping continues with replanting upriver of thousands of mangroves and cashews kindly supplied by the Department of Agriculture. One further item that all our guests unknowingly contribute to, and we thank you for this, is our Community Integration which includes outreach feeding program; Christmas Cabaret party for over 800 pax this year; our education, nutrition, and recycling programs and supporting all local festivals. Sorry to hear that you were disturbed by a photo shoot, but our white beachfront is attracting more and more beach weddings each year. We are including a new very large cabana and a watch tower at the new development where you can chill out far from the maddening crowds, or better still - come off peak when the resort is actually quiet and the weather consistently good in this rain-shadow area. Hence the thrust of our resort development is not to offer five star accommodation in the provinces but rather to provide funshine, diversity, community support, and integration of tourism and the local ecology into our high ambiance, marine and river environment.

Many thanks for your review and please accept our apologies if, as you say, that a downstairs La Marea was not available. Actually current peak season prices for a La Marea incl VAT etc etc is actually P7,390 but you say that you paid P10,350 for two nights at a Travel Expo. So that's a reasonable discount considering also that the plated breakfast is complimentary and we have free kayaking on the river and other free facilities. Over New Year night celebrations many of our guests joined us for a free dinner with drinks and fireworks at mid-night so unfortunately you missed out on that too. I note that we replaced the water heater next morning and also that the power was fluctuating, Actually the generator power does not fluctuate so it must have been the local power supply which would fluctuate in all resorts. Nevertheless we apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope that they did not charge you too much more at Puerto Del Sol.

My family and I came in tired, hungry and a bit hot-headed from the long drive. The staff was able to turn all the negativity around by showing initiative. They provided us with a better room (location-wise) and even extended our check-out time (because we arrived extremely

We are delighted to hear that you and your family enjoyed yourselves so much and had such a rewarding experience. Some rooms are being renovated and the band has been advised to reduce the volume after 9 pm. FYI - on our island we have built two new obstacle courses opening Christmas 2018 and a slide pool with obstacles opening Jan 2019. Our Mud Olympics at our new Boot Camp should be ready by summer 2019. Haste ye back - to enjoy some wider adventures and Team Building and seasons greeting to you and all our guests.
