Cosy hotel with beautiful rooms. Fantastic cosy village. Staff are professionel and very sweet. Great breakfast. Lounge area with cake and a nice small bar. I will be happy to go there again with my family.

Our GPS was struggling to find this place so we parked in a public car park and walked in to check things out. The hotel is actually easy to find, but we noticed the carport was full, in fact overflowing. We had reserved a place in the carport (had the email confirmation to prove it) but when I mentioned this...

Stayed here for a business seminar with a small group. Service is excellent, with very friendly and often charming staff. I stayed in room 302 (on 4th floor) and liked it. Very complete, good bed, nice amenities, free water (although the tap water here is super) and even a bath rope. Hotel has excellent free internet. Breakfast is very complete...

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel in the center of Gengenbach. We stayed 4 nights while sightseeing in the Black Forest. Never before in my life had I been sent to a lovely garden patio/restaurant and offered complimentary beverages while we filled out our registration. The rooms in this modern hotel are lovely and well appointed. We arrived during a...

As a middle aged couple we opted this year to celebrate our Christmas in Gengenbach, Schwarzald. This is beautiful area in Germany which we visit on a regular basis and Gengenbach is a strikingly beautiful medieval town to which we been before but never stayed. We booked for four nights half-board over the Christmas weekend and were astounded by the...

We arrived in Gengenbach before lunch and dropped our bags in the hotel. The receptionist was apologetic that our room was not yet ready but we had not been expecting it to be. When we returned to check in, we received a warm welcome and were advised that we could help ourselves to food from the selection prepared on a...

We stayed for 8 nights in October. We were given a lovely room on the top floor with our own terrace overlooking the hills surrounding the town. The room was great, with an enormous bathroom and comfortable beds. The service at the hotel was very friendly and professional. The restaurant served the best meals we had during our entire stay...

Our room was upgraded to a suite and we enjoyed having our own outdoor patio area where we could look up the hilly vineyards and see the Jacobskapelle. Lovely breakfasts in the relaxing garden. Room was clean, spacious and the décor was upscale. Didn't really like the window into the bathroom because people in the room can see into the...

Stayed here for one night. It served its main purpose...to have a place to sleep and shower, but that was about it. We were quite underwhelmed with the service. Had a horrible time finding it. Once we reached the area, we attempted to follow the signs, but they seemed to have us going in circles. When we asked one of...
