We loved everything from the moment we arrived. Meet & Greet by Bridget who was Super Fantastic during our entire stay, the welcome drink, snack and gummy bear while we completed registration. Our room was wonderful with a super comfy bed. The renovation of the hotel has been done beautifully, creative style & design. The terraced courtyard garden is wonderful...

My wife and I just spent two perfect nights at Die Reichstadt. I rarely give "fives," but this hotel rates it. The room was large and airy. Very bright, and immaculately clean. The shower was large and extremely modern, with copious hot water. Windows open, but AC is available. TV is large (and in German). Yes, they greet you with...

Just returned from a lovely stay in the Die Reichsstadt hotel. My husband, parents and I stayed here over Easter. We wanted a German experience rather than a chain hotel and this hotel was perfect. The rooms are comfortable and the beds meant we had great nights sleep. The breakfasts were delicious, so much on offer and everything yummy. We...

Our GPS was struggling to find this place so we parked in a public car park and walked in to check things out. The hotel is actually easy to find, but we noticed the carport was full, in fact overflowing. We had reserved a place in the carport (had the email confirmation to prove it) but when I mentioned this...

Stayed here for a business seminar with a small group. Service is excellent, with very friendly and often charming staff. I stayed in room 302 (on 4th floor) and liked it. Very complete, good bed, nice amenities, free water (although the tap water here is super) and even a bath rope. Hotel has excellent free internet. Breakfast is very complete...

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel in the center of Gengenbach. We stayed 4 nights while sightseeing in the Black Forest. Never before in my life had I been sent to a lovely garden patio/restaurant and offered complimentary beverages while we filled out our registration. The rooms in this modern hotel are lovely and well appointed. We arrived during a...

As a middle aged couple we opted this year to celebrate our Christmas in Gengenbach, Schwarzald. This is beautiful area in Germany which we visit on a regular basis and Gengenbach is a strikingly beautiful medieval town to which we been before but never stayed. We booked for four nights half-board over the Christmas weekend and were astounded by the...

We arrived in Gengenbach before lunch and dropped our bags in the hotel. The receptionist was apologetic that our room was not yet ready but we had not been expecting it to be. When we returned to check in, we received a warm welcome and were advised that we could help ourselves to food from the selection prepared on a...
