Wonderful evening at the lugger, nothing was too much trouble. The food.....plenty of choice, decent price, hot and tasty. The desserts where just the right size too,not 'in your face'! The staff where very pleasant and helpful, even leaving a card and present on our birthday table which was decorated by the staff. A fab surprise. Can't wait to re... More

Staff were epic, but the interior was exceptionally dated with the only thing pre-dating the decor was the menu. Menu ran to several pages of blandness, and unfortunately the execution matched the menu. Both my wife and had the grilled chicken (myself with honey and mustard, wife with lemon and garlic). It was exactly what it said on the packet... More

Recently had my father's wake here for what we thought would be about 50 people. Actually more people arrived than expected, which was lovely - the staff at the Lugger were fantastic, just kept more food coming without any fuss, which was a great relief at what was a sensitive time. Food was lovely, scrummy scones and clotted cream, table... More

What a friendly place....nothing was too much trouble and staff and owner went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Food great with special theme nights...very friendly bar with real ales. Only fault room could have been better set out particularly wardrobe (room 1) but being picky.😀😁😂😂😂

We booked a two night stay, very friendly helpful staff, comfortable room all clean and tidy, good size bar area, for the beer lover they serves real ales, I always rate the breakfast on the quality of the sausages, so if the owner or chef read this I'm afraid your sausages are terrible, processed sawdust with no meat content, suggest... Visited over night in May with my husband and 2 children. £120 for 1 night in cold, dated and dirty room. Would not recommend this to anyone. Complete rip off!!! Breakfast was fine, nothing amazing but not awful either, waitress was pleasant though!

We stayed at the Lugger Inn for 3 nights in total - one before and two after our event. The first night we were in a spa room; the ensuite toilet was very small but adequate. The other room was much more spacious with a good sized bathroom and a comfortable room. The staff were all great - so friendly,... More

Great place, excellent service with a smile and plenty of seating inside and out. Only popped in for a quick pint as was pleasantly surprised. Lovely garden opposite which we sat in with the dogs. The food looked great and we will be going back again today to sample for ourselves. Clean, tidy and helpful staff. Worth a visit!
