My husband and I spent last night here as it was handy to River Cottage where we went for dinner. We received a friendly welcome from the B&B's owner. The house is lovely and clean. The room did not dissapoint for comfort and cleanliness. The decor was also pleasing. Breakfast was delicious. We would certainly recommend staying here and hope...

We stayed over a few days whilst at the River Cottage Summer Fair - which was a short drive away. The Hollyhock room was superb, very comfortable 4 poster and more than enough room. The bathroom is HUGE with a gorgeous roll top bath big enough for 2 (and we are not a small couple!) Great choice of breakfasts available...

My wife and I spent three nights here. We had room 6 - on the second floor. Surprisingly spacious with twin beds plus a settee and two armchairs and a spacious en suite shower. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, well decorated and comfortably furnished. Although the house is on the main road south out of Axminster it was very...

We visited River Cottage and stayed here, it was a good location being only 4 miles away. We had a warm welcome, the room was fabulous, very clean and with all the amenities that you could wish for. We were very spoilt with a separate lounge and kitchen area. Breakfast was of the best quality, very fresh and served with...

A beautiful house in nice grounds with very well appointed rooms located a shortish walk from the town centre. Not cheap but worth the money. The breakfast was full with a good menu, although could have been warmer when it arrived at the table. The owner of the house was very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely...

We got off to a poor start, when we arrived, went into the house and couldn't find anyone to greet us for a few minutes, despite ringing the front door bell. The dog is obviously used to strangers, as it didn't bark. However, from then on ti was very good. The room was lovely with a four-poster bed. Breakfast was...

My partner and I stayed here in May, our room was beautiful and clean. Fiona the owner was very pleasant and went out of her way to be helpful. Breakfast was a choice of traditional full English or cereal and fruit, we opted for a full English which unfortunately was a bit of a let down, the sausages tasted as...

An elegant Guest House with all the comforts one would expect in a 5 star hotel. There are 5 rooms to choose from, each with a flower's name- our room (gardenia) was spacious and light, overlooking the immaculate garden. Pristine lovely decor, a big comfortable bed and lots of pillows, a wonderful sofa to sink into, it felt more like...

Stayed two nights and could not have asked for a friendlier welcome, Fiona was the perfect host, showed us to our room, even carried our bag, a quick explanation of keys and light switches etc., times of breakfast, where to park in the hotel grounds and left us to discover the quality of the room for ourselves, the quality was...
