We have completed our annual trip here. since we go every year we are sensitive to changes wither good or bad. We stay in the cabins along the river. This year we were very impressed with the improvements. The store and the new fishing shack come to mind. But a suggestion here. The young man we talked to in the... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. We appreciate your comments and appreciate your observations about our new Tackle Shack at the marina. We hope to make continued improvements along those areas you've mentioned in anticipation for better serving our guest next year ! Best Regards, Warren J More

I read a review complaining about the children running around this place and that is true, lots of kids and fun! If you have a family, it is a great place to spend your days. I visit this place for the Labour Day weekend and although the weather was not the best, we enjoyed our stay. The showers are new,... More

We visited pacific playgrounds the third week of June before public school let out for the summer. The spaces are very tight and are back to back with other campers. We were lucky to not have any neighbours and we were able to spread out a little bit. There is a pool, clean bathrooms, paid showers, paid laundry, close to... More

We booked an 'adults only' site to arrive and find that they no longer have specific rows for adult clientele. The long term site beside us was loaded with 'stuff' piled everywhere and in prime view of our table. Mention of this to office staff and we were told all of the items piled and heaped were within their site... More

We have friends whom stay here every year for weeks. They like the park and were happy we came, but aren't as impressed with the new way it is run. I was visiting my parents and we decided to go camping for a week. So we hit Miracle Beach, Elk Falls, and here. I had a truck camper, and my... More

Very well run outfit. Staff were friendly and helpful, I needed a 50 to 30 amp adapter and female-female coax adapter which they provided with a refundable deposit. Everything worked. Lots to do! The highlight was definately swimming and playing in the Oyster River, which is right next to the campgrounds. Highly recommended for families, and dog friendly. (they even... More

Booked site for 5 nights and we ended up leaving earlier than planned. Office was closed when we left so called when opened. Was asked if we wanted credit card credited or credit on account. We took credit on account as we always camp up there. When we went back to camp there was no record of credit. I was... More

We reserved for two weeks way back in Feb, 2016 and selected the "V" lots for the view as well as adults only. When we arrived we were shocked to find two families with small children camped in the spot right next door. We asked at the office and were told that the entire park is family oriented and the... We absolutely love Pacific Playgrounds, we've been calling it home for our summer holidays for the past 5 years. Already been twice this summer and visiting again for 4 nites in September. Our grandkids love it there, it's their campground of choice. No reason to ever be bored here. Beach walks, beautiful well maintained pool, kIds fishing dock ( a... More

There are good points about Pacific Playground...location, marina, large play area, river...but the sites are too small for many RVs in current use, and they are far too close together. The campground does not seem to discourage people from having more than 1 extra vehicle per site, so cars/trucks etc are parked all over the narrow roads, and make it... More
