We live this part of the Costa Calida coastline. It has a charm all of its own. It's how the coast of Spain was in 1950s. It's like walking back in time. But come the summer months it's the yachts that find its safe waters and the as just add to the picturesque village and shoreline. There is a church... More

It's our special place to visit during all seasons. The boats small and large are anchored just off shore. A church and social gathering area shares the parking area on the beach. There is a saltary for the fishermen just edging onto the pebbled shoreline. Tuna boats arrive from the rings just on the horizon and disembark their catch on... More

This was a lovely hotel but is now closed 2012 it is unlikely to be removed by trip advisor so please be aware before trying to book that it is no longer open. Such a shame as the hotel still looks immaculate from the outside.

We stayed a week in an apartment at the little holiday resort of La Azohia. It is mainly a spanish resort and relatively undeveloped. It certainly doesn't have any of the brash garishness of some of the other costas. Allthough La Azohia is described as a "little fishing village" it's a bit more than that. There are two main parts... More

It's one of the best hotels in this part of Spain. Just 500mts from the beach and the village and in my opinion one of the best places if you've kids. There are 3 pools: one for children perticularly if you've small children, one big one with sea water and another one with warm water. Staff is very friendly and... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in February 2005. We booked through Ryanair and stayed on a bed and breakfast basis for 3 nights. The hotel looks a bit strange from the outside but do not let that put you off. When we were there a golf course was being planned on land adjacent to the hotel. The... More
