Thank you Erica and the team for their exceptionally friendly and helpful service. From allowing our hiking group to leave cars and store luggage during the hike, to agreeing to a later checkout where possible, this was our favourite overnight stop on the Wild Coast Meander. The professional service, the immaculate accommodation (Charlotte Rhys guest amenities), the delicious four course dinner and the clever touches for Covid protocols at the breakfast buffet all contributed to a most impressive experience.
We loved this place from the moment we booked. Erica was very kind and obliging. The hotel is simply a delight from start to finish. The food is excellent courtesy chef Jonathan. The hotel is a family (4 generation) run affair, and the management is very competent. At around R2 000 for 2 pax DB&B out of season, it is a steal. The swimming and walks on the beach and surrounding cliffs are magnificent. The room we had was spacious and comfortable, with a great bathroom. There is nothing to fault this establishment. I am only sorry that I discovered it so late. I am sure I will be returning at every chance. Many thanks for a great time.
I love this hotel so much. Comfortable, clean, beautiful and the most exquisite views. The service team makes you feel completely at home! We had a massive family wedding and nothing was too much for this amazing team. Thank you all!
We have just arrived home from a marvelous 5 night stay at Morgan Bay Hotel. The staff are amazing and the food is exceptional. The views form our Deluxe corner suit were ever changing and a delight to behold. We will most certainly be back for more.
Growing up we always wanted to stay at the Morgan Bay Hotel and finally did. It was amazing from start to finish. The views are to die for and the food and service were exemplary. I would highly recommend Morgan Bay Hotel and if we are ever in South Africa again, we will be sure to revisit.
Simply stunning, whether you want a quiet getaway, or a family treat, or a corporate function. The food is top class, and careful attention is paid to one's food preferences. It offers a vast array of outdoor and indoor activities. You don't have to go far for magnificent views and vistas or a stunning beach. The morning sunrises are so worth it! Having a latte on the balcony is a special treat. They offer a games' room, and so much more. It's a great place for a magic hideaway - a real gem on our Wild Coast.
Such a lovely combination of old school hospitality, delightful quirkyness of a family-run establishment. Book a room with a sea view and soak up the sound of the surf. Force yourself to wake early to watch the sunrise. Magical moments, I couldn't believe anybody could rate the MBH just one star, then saw this was a Camper at the campsite (then owned by the MBH?) in 2016 and the Generator kept him awake.
Every detail thought of at this beautiful hotel. The menus are personally written every day and the setting is spectacular. Right on the sea with views, sunrises and sunsets to die for. The interior decor is first class. The food is beyond delicious. Lovely staff. Coming back for sure.
We stayed for one night as a family. Received a very warm welcome and a personilized service. The rooms were spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The beds provided us with a comfortable night's sleep and the breakfast was perfect. The surrounding sceenery is spectacular. Overall one of the best hotel stays we have had during our stay in South Africa.
The beach and swimming was great, pub and outside patio a great vibe. Very friendly and efficient staff. Food especially dinners were excellent. Cleanliness and maintenance also a big plus. Would highly recommend this for a group, couples or families.
