Stayed two nights in our tent with our two children and some friends. We were able to pitch close together and had a lovely quiet spot next to a cow field which the kids loved! The site is a good size, has lovely views, is quiet and very relaxing. The facilities were clean and ample. The showers were easy to... More

Generational Boys outing with my father and son arrived a little bit earlier than the 1pm booking time but was happy to wait until then as the owner was cleaning the facilities. Immaculate campsite with everything that you would need. Perhaps the facilities are a little bit dated but are still well maintained. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting... More

We love this site and have been a couple of times now. Its a small, quiet and tranquil site, facilities are good, although 10p for water as its their own supply. I personally dont mind paying. The owners are lovely and accomodating. There are numerous nice pitches to select from however busy the site is. There is no phone signal... More

If you wanna good base to visit all that's the northumberlans coast has to offer then I would highly recommend Proctor's Stead. Lots of lovely walks with great views; Coaster is only a short walk away and definitely worth a visit if not only to.sample the excellent seafood at the jolly fisherman pub. The local pub in the village also... More

lovely site. Was very hard to book we tried several emails and several phone calls. Owners were not very nice to us when we did turn up and found this to be the case with most people we talked to. Lovely walk into Craster and lots of lovely walks around the site. Showers etc kept clean. Honesty box for milk... More

Had a good long weekend break at Proctor's Stead, our first trip up to Northumberland with our new caravan. The booking was easy (online with Sally who was excellent at getting back to me with any questions). The route directions from the website were perfect and helped us avoid any smaller roads, so I would recommend following these rather than... More

Stayed here for one night. Nice, quiet, well kept park that is walking distance to a local pub though there's not much else in walking distance to the area. You'll need some 10p coins to get hot water - 10p = 6 minutes of hot water so make sure you've got some or you'll be having a cold shower.

Hubby, myself and dog had weekend at site. Very well maintained site and very good facilities. Owners accommodating. Only downside is no direct area to take dog - no designated area to take for business other than out to roadside. Directly opposite campsite you can go through fields over to beach / coastline (Dunstan Square) if you don't mind walking... More

The site was very well looked after, quiet and clean. We camped. We were lucky to have good weather but torrential rain on our last night left the outer edges of the fields with large puddles of water which were very slow to drain which made packing up a nightmare. Toilets and showers clean and plentiful but be aware, no... More
