We have stayed at Fairhill House several times and LOVE IT!!! The hotel is quaint, located in the West of Ireland in a little village called Clonbur. A nice full Irish breakfast is provided each morning at the hotel and if the weather permits, there are tables out front for drinks. The Fairhill House is comfortable, clean and a great place to call home for a few days. There is a restaurant attached with amazing food and a fireplace that provides great ambiance. There is a pub across the street as well as around the corner, so you are spoiled for choice in such a small village. There are two lochs nearby for the outdoorsman looking for nearby fishing or boating. Ashford Castle is just down the street and easy access to other villages in the West of Ireland for day

Very Clean Hotel, food including breakfast and dinner was really good. Rooms were clean and spacious. I was on a fishing trip and catered for anglers really well. I will definitely be back again soon.

Really enjoyed two nights here on a walking weekend - well minded by Eddie and his friendly, efficient team. Must say the food in the bar is really excellent. I ate lamb shank and my wife had rack of lamb .. both excellent. Nice quiet room. Having stayed this first time we'll certainly be back.

I've stayed in a number of local b&bs in the area when on fishing trips. The experience has been mixed though generally good. However for about a tenner a night more I stayed in Fairhill house and would find it hard to go anywhere else now. Very comfortable, friendly, great breakfast and Eddie's bar serves really good food and nice fresh pints! As someone else mentioned their homemade brown bread is a highlight. Note breakfast service is not early in case you are on a business trip - it starts at 8:15am. This is not a criticism as it suited me fine, merely an observation. Highly recommended.
