Ate here last week whilst on holiday in the area - a complete chance find as we drove past it on way to Lyme Regis on the back roads, checked the reviews and hey presto we were not disappointed. Large portions, beautifully cooked and very attentive, friendly staff. Wouldn't hesitate to eat here again!

This lovely pub has four very comfortable upstairs ensuite rooms that made the perfect location for a family reunion. The family who run it could not have been more accommodating. They serve great food in a beautiful location 20 minutes drive from the coast.

Ate here twice during a two week holiday in the area. This is a lovely country pub with a separate bar and two dining rooms, all with a lovely atmosphere. Tim welcomed us and got us settled in with drinks and a choice of tables. The chef Dave is to be complimented highly on his food. There is a wide... More

We only live a couple of miles away and when we can't be bothered to cook, this is our first choice. The food is always excellent and the atmosphere is second to none. Tim has to go to the top of the class for customer care, we walk in the door and even if he is serving customers, he always... More

Attending a wedding, we arrived late and even though the kitchen was closed Tim prepared a snack for us - snack being a gigantic plate of scampi, chips and peas. Tim couldn't do enough for us during our stay, the perfect host. Rooms were lovely, a comfy bed and the biggest 3 course breakfast, which was lovely. Couldn't find fault... More

My first visit to this establishment on the recommendation of others. Green location with great country views. An old and quaint pub house. The licensee was very welcoming and had the four of us seated after serving drinks. The menu was very good and gave us plenty of choice. I chose the belly of pork chinese style which was a... More

We were staying on holiday locally and went to The Spyway Inn after looking at Tripadvisor reviews for pubs in the area. I am so glad we went. When we arrived we saw the childrens playarea which my daughter was delighted with! Then after a very walm welcome at the bar, we were shown to our table. We all chose... More

This is a nice pub - mainly set up for food, as bar area is tiny. It has a lovely beer garden looking out over hills. The service was really friendly. Came here for dinner when I was staying in the area. Me: Lasagne with garlic bread and a small salad. I also had a side order of chips. The... More
