This place is a dive factory that is probably okay for new divers, but is not recommended for anyone who has experienced a quality dive shop. The management is inflexible in organizing dives. You have to buy a dive package to dive Sipadan. No refund if you dive fewer dives and if you want to dive more forget it. The... More

If you are serious about diving, Forget Big Johns, Arung Hayat, Uncle Chang, Billabong... And go dive with this guys. The resort is run by very experienced westerners and some very friendly Malay. Unlike their accommodation, their diving prices are very competitive. Pros: - Very experienced DM's and instructors. - Good atmosphere. - Good gear. - Loads of diving options.... More

I went to this place to dive Sipadan. I can only recommend Scuba Junkies as a dive shop - everything was perfect. I did the advanced open water course, 1 day fun dive in Kapalai and 1 day Sipadan. My bungalow was spacious, but the bathroom was a wee bit dated - for the price I paid I expected more... More

10/10, 100% Dive team is superb ...maybe not quite as good as Scuba Junkie Komodo (Deb, Jon, Davey, Ewan, Lydia Sole-brother-man, Fandi, Saiful, Hardi, Riyan, Carys & Ro ..haha!) ... Names to note at SJ Mabul: 'Old' Simon, Audray (Gypsy) Teresa, Jordan, Luke, Rachel (you'll hear her before you see her), Cat, Dave, Tiny Dion ...sometimes 2 "other" guys Ric... More

Dormitory are comfortable and clean. Food buffet is excellent and diversified No seafood The staff is friendly and very professional. It's one of the best dive center that I have seen for this price. Divemaster and guide knows the divesite. Unfortunately Mabul is very polluted with a lot of rubbish. Scuba Junkie tries to aware customer and local people but... More

Such a beautifull place, only good memories from my 6 day stay here. Nice and cosy little resort, great for meeting people and fellow travellers. Superd and clean dorm rooms. Very tasty buffet, although they could offer a bit more variation. Well looked after dive equipment and guides that knew their stuff and where to look during the dives, they... More

We stayed 4nigths, i did the Sipadan diving package and my girlfriend did the Open water course. Stayed 3nights in fanroom and 1 in AC room. Both were fresh and clean. Good food buffet even tough a bit boring if you stat there a longer period. The divemaster were really good and the diving overall great.

Accomodation I booked in a 8 people dorm, and I was glad I did. I could have stayed in Semporna in a private room for approximately the same price, but Mabul Beach Resort (MBR – Scuba Junkie) really worth it. Being “isolated” for a couple days is a good thing. There was no AC in the dormitory, and I was... More

We were 8 friends sharing a dorm. The door cant be closed so that they will rent u a locker to keep your valuables. It's safe. They provide 5 meals a day!!! Including breakfast, lunch, dinner and two teabreaks in morning and afternoon. We stayed 3D2N, everyday was different menu!!! Delicious. We chose snorkelling package and did 6 snorkelling trips... We stayed at the Mabul resort to complete our open water dive certification. Every aspect of our stay was fantastic- the resort, the course and the diving. Resort: Cute, comfortable, friendly service. We booked a deluxe room which came with air con and hot water, definitely a luxury but worth it after a full day in the sun and water.... More
