We stayed 5 nights, and had a fine time at this place. The pool is small but right on the ocean, so you can drink piña coladas and watch the sun set while floating in the pool. The included breakfast was toast and coffee. However, you could upgrade, and put the $2 that the toast and coffee would cost toward...

Beautiful location, really friendly staff, great food. Rooms are simple but when your only in them at night not really an issue. Bathroom could be a bit cleaner (bit of draino wouldn't go astray). But my husband, son and I loved our stay. Nice little pool, bar, table tennis and pool table. For $30 per night for the three of...

It's been a while since we were there, Aug 2011 I think, but loved this place. The rooms are typical of indo, basic, bathrooms are very basic, but clean. The infinity pool staring out at Shipwrecks surf break was perfect for relaxing and keeping an eye on the surf. Tony is always hanging around, ready to take you out to...

This place is not worth the price. And before Brian attaches one of his 'fight back' posts defending this place, let me just say that I live in Bali and have stayed at a number of home stays, villas and hotels, so my expectations were realistic. For $53 a night, I expect much better service, a clean swimming pool, and...

this hotel is in great position, in front of the sea and close to other hotels and bars/restos, however it could use some serious renovation!!! also the aussie owner could have been friendlier!!! stuff is ok, adequately helpful, and communicable!!!

This resort is in a primo location, right on the beach in front of Shipwrecks surf break with a fabulous pool to watch the sunsets over the lagoon...it just needs some serious TLC and it could be awesome! The whole place just looks and feels rundown (and compared to other places in the immediate area is certainly not good value...

the first surprice was - no hot water all the year...my friend swam in pool then ran to the room to have a hot shower as she got cold and it was very funny then - she stayed under water and couldn't believe that warm water will never come :) and very old rooms with dirty bathroom and even smell...

Well I'm gob smacked by all the negative thoughts from some nasty people. Try to be objective about reviewing this place. compare it to others in the same price range and you will realise that quite frankly it is good value for money. Sure it's not a mainland hotel, but a budget accommodation place that swings. Never had a warm...

Could not have been worse. Had to drag our bags down a rocky dirt track as we were not met by anyone. Had worms crawling on our feet in the shower - gross!. Very basic accom. Nice location. Staff friendly.

Hi- I was hesitant about this place after reading these reviews but had been recommended this place by a well travelled surfing family we know so gave it a whirl. We had a king bed room for ourselves and our two small kids (one and three) which was fine. Linen was clean, towels were changed when we asked. Water cold...
