This place is not maintained well and they don't seem to care. The room was dirty and wasn't serviced the whole time I was there, the curtains were filthy (I had to use hand sanitiser after touching them), the door handle to the open air bathroom fell off in my hand one night which meant I couldn't shut the door,... For 250 000 rp a night, this place is a nice, quiet basic choice. The twin rooms with a fan had room to spread out, a standard outdoor bathroom (cold water) with a clothes line and comfortable beds. A hammock and lounge chair as well as a couple of chairs and a table on the veranda were nice to relax... More

Booked this place as my partner wanted to do yoga and we both wanted to do a dive at manta ray point (unfortunately this wasn't possible due to weather ) . You have yoga shack , big fish diving and secret garden all in 1 compound but the relationship between the 3 is disjointed to say the least . We... More

The only time I have ever heard any one say "Äsk the staff" is when people ask us about Laundry or motor bike rental both of which we don't want to get involved with and pass over to the local staff. We have no control what so ever over the WIFI. We pay the very expensive fee every month and... More

Close to beach and restaurants... Great for learning to scuba diving, or just relaxing round the pool while your friends learn, walk down to the beach to watch the sunset in evenings or to catch a ferry. Go to the daily yoga sessions on the premises... great spas are also nearby. Staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful... Thank you... More

I loved my little bungalow around the pool with semi outdoor bathroom. It was spacious and comfortable, particularly the hammock on the front porch. Staff were friendly and the diving instructors were very good. There is a relaxed vibe which made it easy to chat to other guests. There was yoga available too and breakfast options. I will definitely return... More

Unfortunately we didn't enjoy our stay at secret garden as much as we were hoping to. We stayed at one of their new delux bungalows, which are located outside of the actual hotel complex. This gives you a bit of a detached feeling, plus there's a big wall all around the hut and its garden. That's great if you are... More

Deluxe bungalows are gorgeous. Outside shower and traditional style bamboo bungalows - they smell amazing in the heat! Each deluxe bungalow has a lovely fenced off private garden so you feel super secluded. A mosquito net in the room would be useful. Breakfast was quite hit and miss in terms of timing and availability but it's not really a problem.... More

We stayed here for three nights and initially were very impressed with accommodation. The staff were always very friendly and up for a chat. The rooms were nice, we had a very big round double bed and semi outdoor shower. We asked on arrival if the showers were fresh water, which they confirmed, but they most certainly were not. The... Like all small island around the world the water quality varies depending how far back you are from the sea and also how lucky you are with drilling your ground water well. Most of the year the Secret Garden has above average water quality but after a long dry spell with no rain it can become salty. If you are... More

The toilets are semi private but this basically means half outside, our toilet was in direct view of the window of another bungalow which meant we couldn't shower without somebody watching. The toilet and sink were mouldy and the shower was hung on by string, shower curtain was yellow from stains and the bedroom itself looked a bit run down.... More

Hello and thank you for your kind words about Big Fish and the services we offer. You also mentioned about the tasty breakfast which is something we hear often. Ibu Wayan does love to feed us! Really enjoyed my stay. Excellent team with Big Fish Diving - Tim , Andrea, Lilian , Nora, Rich , Michelle , Ibu Wayan and Made Roky all great. Bungalows are clean , simple and very relaxing. With Yoga Shack on the same premises it has everything for a chilled stay and very well priced.
