No luxery to be found. A pool with toiletpapir floating around in it. A toilet which cant flush and a sink with water only dropping out if it. So if you want to live But nice breakfast, you have to pay for.

Response from SecretG3, Manager at Secret Garden Bungalows
Responded Sep 12, 2018
Hello and thank you for your honest feedback about your stay at Secret Garden. we take your comments very seriously and so sorry you didn't enjoy your time here. We would certainly agree with you that we don't offer facilities that would be described as ''luxury'' and the nightly rate of Euro 14 certainly reflects that. We do offer though basic bungalows set in a beautiful tropic garden with lots of space between them and a hammock on the veranda for relaxing. We don't normally find paper floating in our pool and I'm sure you will agree that the staff didn't put it there! I'm sure it was there by accident, maybe come loose from a pocket or blown in by the wind and I'm sure once it was spotted someone would have removed it. Sorry to hear you had some issues with your toilet flush, if you had informed the front office I'm sure we could have fixed that for you right away.

The bamboo bungalows are really quite nice. Basic, but each one has its own courtyard with outdoor sink, toilet, and shower. The air conditioning keeps the bungalow surprisingly cool without working very hard, even in very warm outdoor conditions. I'd definitely stay here again.

Great pool, great vibe, and couldn't ask for better staff or friendlier service. Rooms are everything you need, and the beach is close by... which I went to, when I could finally pull myself away from the pool. Big Fish diving is "fin"onmenal - groups stay small and the smiles are big! Haven't done yoga in a while, but Lisa helped me get back into my downward dog! Stop by the Yoga Shack, if you need a stretch after surfing. After yoga, I stuck around for a talk on the manta rays (obviously the reason I came to to this island) from Marine Megafauna. P.S. get the dragon fruit gluten free pancakes!

Quiet environment, beautiful boongalow accomodation and swimming pool. Great breakfast served at the boongalow. Maybe the houses would need some maintenance ... In and out side. Spectacular the round bed, all made in bamboo! I chose this place becouse diving center and yoga course are inside it. And this is real good. Staff kind, I say hello to Mr Tito Thanks for every thing, Rossana

We stayed here for a week and it offered everything we needed! A Padi 5-star diveshop (Big Fish) with professional staff, good equipment and a nice diveboat! A Yoga shack with 2 daily classes, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Spacious deluxe bungalows (the first 5 days) and basic but very affordable bungalows around the pool (the last 2 days) Good breakfast and kitchen service till 6pm. The friendly staff can help you with other things like renting a scooter, booking the fast boat, etc The Marine Mega Fauna Foundation is also situated at this place and they offer movies and talks about coral and ocean conservation. A good thing! The beach and main street with all the nice restaurants are very close by! But most important the very friendly people. Thanks Tito, Tim, Nora, Wakari, Sandrine, Tommy, the Captain and all the others from Secret Garden - Big Fish - Yoga Shack for an amazing week at Nusa L.…

Myself and two other friends travelled around Indonesia and Malaysia for 5 weeks and this was easily my favourite place we stayed. It was a little more price wise than we spent on the rest of our accommodation during the trip but still cheap and well worth the extra few pounds. The bamboo huts with their outside bathrooms and little gardens are lovely, clean, light, private and comfortable! Great location close to the beach and everything else on the beautiful little island. Whist we stayed there we went along to a free talk on Manta Rays too which was really interesting :) As we were travelling on a budget we got our laundry and most of our meals elsewhere just because it was a bit cheaper.

Wow what a lovely place. Gardens are very well maintained and the bungalows are just lovely. Shame about the cold water (I suppose I can live with that for a couple of days). Staff are really friendly. Very happy to be staying here (shame it only for a couple of days). Would love to come back.
