Large clean rooms, mine was with the balcony and nice view over the valley. Amazing stars as the hotel is further away from any large town. All very clean, new mattresses, renovations were done in the hotel at the beginning of 2018. Even for a few people there is large breakfast with a large number of choices. Dinner choices either one of three if you have half-board or from the regular menu. All dietary issues can be taken care of. The wellness area is small but cozy and you can book ahead the times you like. Running in snow after your sauna or hot steam is a bonus from the nature :-). I'll be back for sure. Again.
an AMAZING staff, great food, clean, family friendly hotel which makes you spoiled all the time. This was my third time and not the last for sure. / BAJECNI zamestnanci, vynikajici jidlo a hotel tak prijemny, ze se proste musite vracet. byla jsem tu pracovne i na soukrome ceste a rozhodne ne naposledy.
We found the staff to be great, the views gorgeous and the rooms just fine. We did have a Superior room with balcony and view. This place is for families with tons of things for the kids to do. We were there in the off season so most of it was closed. Only surprise was you had to pay to use the hot tub (4 persons only) and indoor pool. You must make a reservation and only 8 people are allowed at one time. You pay for one hour. The outdoor pool, when open, is free. The restaraunt was ok - the ZANDER fish to be avoided in this country if you like tasty fish!
Nice quiet location, with nice view from balcony. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was a little firm. No air conditioning in room but with window open it was comfortable. Limited menu at restaurant, but food was well prepared. Staff was courteous and friendly.
We stayed here at the end of August and were really impressed. The hotel is a little paradise, the food is fantastic with the chef who is the happiest man I've ever met! The staff are extremely helpful, from the restaurant staff through to the reception staff, everyone is superb. The facilities are mostly for smaller children, lots of activities for them, so teenagers (of which we had 2) were a little harder to please, that's just teenagers though! The pool is lovely, can be covered in poor weather, the petting zoo is great and the children really enjoyed interaction with the animals. The rooms are well appointed, so no negative points at all. We would happily return here, thank you all who made our holiday special.
You will get a good value for money. Main strong points are: hotel staff and director (you can feel kind approach, staff teamwork, good organization, customer orientation, interesting and creative ideas; you can meet hotel director almost every day - he is informal and kind, personally coordinating some of activities for kids, really taking care about quality of all issues), many entertainment opportunities for kids (playgrounds, room with toys, pools, mini-zoo, every day entertainment programmes - kids disco, animals feeding, creative workshops, and many many others - always it is something nice, local, informal, creative - no comercial expensive programmes - our kids have enjoyed it), simple and tasty home-made cuisine, nice swimming pool and wellness, good location to make trips both to nature and city. Of course we have also found some improvement points, however they are too minor to mention them here. So finally we definitely recommend this hotel to all who come with kids and want to enjoy a lot of entertainment in a friendly environment.…
Large hotel, at the top of hill with nice panorama view on valley and hills with forest. Children are welcome. Rooms are spacious and clean. Personnel is nice. Kitchen is definitely above czech average (not bad but not pefect). Recommended.
I stayed there just one night. The staff were very friendly, although knowledge of English was limiter to Petra - a lovely receptionist and a lady in a wellness-spa centre, whose name I don't remember. Rooms are... well, Spartan but clean and what is important, beds are comfortable. Cuisine - local; Czech, but very tasty. Breakfast - good choice of options in an open buffet Would I stay there? Yes, I would.
The Moravian Karst is a gorgeous area of the Czech Republic and great accommodations make it that much better. Hotel Panorama is really worthy of a four star rating given what I´ve seen of other Czech three star hotels. The hotel is very clean and the staff very professional. From a linguistic flexibility standpoint, at least three of the reception desk staff I encountered spoke very good English and much of the signage in the wellness area is bilingual Czech and German. None of the staff I met in the wellness area or restaurant seemed to speak English, but it really wasn´t too much of an issue. My only real criticism of the hotel was one evening when we were booked for the wellness area and found ourselves sharing the area with a family group of about twelve people. It really was too many people for the area and made it difficult to really relax and enjoy the whirlpool and small indoor pool with a bunch of young children running around. While I do applaud the hotel for their family friendly stance, I feel they could have exercised a bit more care in the booking of groups in the wellness area to ensure that groups of similar nature were scheduled in the same time blocks and couples and family groups didn´t potentially get in each others´ way. That matter aside, I fully recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again.…
We spent four days here with two children eight years old. Rooms clean, spacious, beds very comfortable, we had family room - two separated rooms with one hall and bathroom. Rich buffet breakfast, very delicious dinner. And last but not least very polite staff. Good starting point to regional attractions - several caves, castles, many walking and bicycle routes around.
