This is a very nice stylish hotel. We thought it was great value. It is quite far from the centre - 30 minutes walk but it is a nice walk with sites along the way so we didnt mind. We were given an upgrade to the top floor room (802) however we could hear the elevator quite loudly, thankfully it didn't happen in the night otherwise we might have complained.
We were welcomed as soon as we entered the hotel lobby and check in was informative and helpful. We were told all what we needed to know and were encouraged to return if we needed any help or directions. Breakfast was amazing and the waiter ( who must do thousands of steps each morning as he speed walks around) ensured that all clients were greeted and everything was Ok. We saw him after the breakfast period was over and he was just about to go home and he spotted something that was out of place so made a point of correcting it before heading off shift. The reception staff were polite and helpful, calling a taxi if we needed or giving directions. The main staff member we dealt with ( did not get his name but had a beard, stocky build and blue eyes) was very informative of the hotel when we enquired about the frontage of the hotel and he told us how the owners had updated the hotel to the current theme. We will highly recommend this hotel to anyone as it has a feeling of being at home and would probably be one of the top hotels that we have stayed at. The room was cleaned each day, with beds made and fresh towels. We stayed for 7 nights on floor 5 and each day we received the same high level of customer service from all aspects of our stay.…
Exceptional service and care! Nothing was too much bother. Highly recommend this hotel. The beds were super comfy. If you can, grab a room with a balcony. Breakfast was very good, all looked over by what appeared to be the busiest person on the planet! The breakfast manager was a delight to watch every morning. He constantly brought a smile to my Mums face.
We stayed here for four nights in May 2022, and were very happy the moment we stepped inside. The hotel decor is charming, in a 1920/1930 Art Deco' style (apart from perhaps the staircase, which I will save you the surprise of finding - in a good way!). We picked a room with a balcony, which was nearly as big as the room itself and had a table and chairs to enjoy the sunset; it was hot but the room had very effective air conditioning. Very clean, the room was made-up daily without needing to be requested, and is in what feels like a very safe and quiet part of town but is just a walk away from everything central. Our luggage was looked after on our last day so we could enjoy that time without dragging it around. Pay a visit to the Pizza Fresca restaurant opposite, it's great! The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, honestly have no complaints... And we will return!…
nice stay in Brussels in a good location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and service was excellent with a good choice. Room was clean with a view over the square although the bathroom was on the small size.
Booked very last minute, like a day before, and had a fantastic holiday in gorgeous Brussels and The Scott Hotel was a top hit. Felt very welcome, hotel room was quite spacious given the cost per night, I mean very big and pretty. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful every single morning, actually became one of the things I looked forward to the most. I think the management is very good and they were very helpful. Would come back.
The title said it all - beautiful hotel. Rooms have a good size and comfortable bed. Very clean bathroom. Tasty, rich breakfast. Good location. Friendly staff. Would definately stay here again in the future.
The staff is very welcoming, available and professional. The breakfast is very cool. The rooms are very clean, well laid out and have large windows overlooking the roofs of Brussels. Cool and great at night.
Very nice hotel. Rooms, people, breakfast, every thing. We really apreciate the inside bar, the very complete breakfast. We receive a very good guide to visit the city. The grand place is relativaly near to the hotel (go walking it is possible).
We thought this would be a fun place to stay. The communal area carpet is covered in crumbs and dirt (where the hard floors had been swept, the dirt was just swept into corners and left), the walls are covered in black scuff marks and the chairs and tables had stains on. I was horrified. The room was odd. They'd chosen a very thick pile black carpet, which was dingy and was flattened where people walked. The windows had a translucent sticky back plastic type material cover at the bottom which was scratched to death. There is also a really weird smell around the place, particularly in the hallways. This could be great if they revamped the place, repainted and paid attention to the decor, but overall it was extremely disappointing and doesn't look like the pictures. Cleanliness is a basic expectation when you go to a hotel. This expectation, sadly, was not met.…
