This was a lovely stylish little hotel. I thought it was good value in comparison to other options. It’s a 20 minute walk from the city centre but has plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly and the rooms have character. It was a very comfortable bed and fairly quiet at night considering you’re in a busy city. I would stay here again!
This hotel is very close to the city center and there are multiple train stations near to the facility. The front desk staff members are very friendly and helpful. However our room didn't have air-conditioning. It was extremely hot inside the room.
The hotel is in a fun neighbourhood with good restaurants and great coffee, about 15 mins walk from the famous city centre sights, like the main square. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable. The outdoor terrace is nice, if the weather is friendly. The décor is retro and fun. The breakfast is limited in size/selection but good for the price. However, some money needs to be invested in repairs and in updating the facilities. OK, it's called the Vintage hotel, but that's not an excuse for a shower head which won't stay in place, lack of air conditioning and old carpeting. Also, the allergens are not labelled and are also mixed with other foods in the buffet breakfast, e.g. I wasn't able to eat the ham, as I'm allergic to the milk protein and the ham and milk were next to each other with shared serving utensils. I also wasn't able to drink the coffee, as the machine dispenses milk in a way which could cross-contaminate the black coffee. All in all, though, it's a pleasant hotel and I will probably stay here again.…
Located in the vicinity of the shopping area of Louise Avenue. Lots of little restaurants and cafes in the area. Nice and very helpful staff. Comfortable, although a little bit too tiny, rooms. No lift. Could be better cleaned daily.
Slept here for two nights with my son and we loved everything about it: the vintage interior, the spacious room, comfortable bathroom, central location and last but not least: the delicious breakfast. Thank you and à bientôt!
This hotel is in such a good location if you want to visit and sightsee , whilst it is not in the high tourist area it is just off a shopping street and a very good selection of restaurants and bars . There is fantastic access to the tram , metro at Louise and the tourist hop on hop off bus . Everything is walkable in Brussels but we used the trams a lot and it’s just around the corner . There is also a little bakery and a mini supermarket there too . The staff were all friendly , helpful and accessible . We didn’t choose to have breakfast at the hotel but looked continental in style and fresh . There is also a bar available . The lobby is exactly as it looks in the pictures and very well designed . We were on the 3rd floor , the only room available which I think they called a happy double . The room is not large . There was space to hang a few items , a couple of cubby holes for stacking clothes and space to put a foldout suitcase holder . There was one chair and a small table . We had a kettle provided and a couple of paper cups for coffee /tea. One of each provided and restocked daily . The bathroom was very compact but adequate , the shower was small but very powerful and kept its temperate . The soap provided was NUXE and just lovely . Everything was kept very clean . The bed had lovely white linen, duvet was medium heavy , and the bed was very very comfortable . Only one each flat pillow was provided . The hairdryer was good. We were having temperatures of 27c so it as very very warm , whilst you could open the windows there was the challenge of the early morning city noise . There is no air conditioning , I imagine in high summer it would be very very warm . Definitely something to think about if you don’t like the heat . It was great for a few days city break . I would return but not in summer . It was unique , fun and something different from corporate boring hotels . Suits any age as long as you don’t mind being a little space restricted .…
I liked the look of the Vintage Hotel from the photos on their website, but I'm guessing I must have been given the ugliest room they have (n° 26), the one you won't see on their Instagram account, which has a view of the fire escape and nothing else. For the price, I was a little disappointed at the decor too. Half of the room had just white walls, and a couple of power outlets were in dangerously bad shape (I didn't dare touch them). Also, soundproofing was not great. When people next door took a shower, it sounded like a dam was emptying into my bathroom, and the water from their room ran through pipes in mine, just next to the bed. It was fantastically noisy. And although there was no noise from outside (with two sets of double glazing), I could clearly hear people talking and playing music in their room across the hall, with both our doors closed, until after midnight. On the positive side the staff were all very competent, breakfast was surprisingly good, and the location was handy. I just wish the room upkeep and decor had been better. Oh, and it's time to replace the music players in the rooms too - 'aux' and 'FM' were the only two modes available, and that's not 'vintage', it's just rubbish.…
The Vintage is a small, chic little establishment situated quite centrally in Brussels, conveniently just a stone's throw from the Louise Metro. I was there on an EU funded Erasmus Foundation project and only needed a clean room with a comfortable bed, and The Vintage delivered. The times when the breakfast choices were sparce were not their fault but a supplier's problem with delivery. Broadband connection by free-accessed WiFi was slow and sometimes quite frustrating, Perhaps this could have been due to the weather conditions? The staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful, making one feel at home from the first moment of checking in. If I need somewhere to stay in Brussels in the future, the Vintage would be my first choice.
Nice little hotel with good location. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Everyone spoke really good english. Good basic breakfast. Rooms and the whole hotel was clean. The hotel was nicely decorated! Next time I have to try the trailer in the yard!
We enjoyed a wonderful 4 night stay here. The room was huge with high ceilings and a view of the courtyard. Nice big bathtub was a bonus. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. Location is in the Louse shopping district a short walk from the Metro and the trams. Would recommend this hotel.
