very nice Hotel , funky and cool . Rooms a bit small , but comfortable and cosy. In a good area , with a very nice court yard for drinks and a cool wine bar next door . Part of the Hotel . In a central area , within waling distance to good cafes and restaurant. Certainly Not a 5... More

The room in the new building was great (neat and luminous with a very good mattress). The location is very central. And there is a delicious Italian restaurant beside. The neighbourhood provides many bars and restaurants. People are helpful.

Last time I stayed here I didn't give this place a brilliant review as I was put in one of the cheaper rooms which I found small, and rather noisy. This time I upgraded to a Superior room which WAS spacious, beautifully furnished with a lovely bathroom which included a sunken bath. There was a (smallish) table in the room... More

The Hotel Le Berger treads a very fine line between being retro or rundown. Overall it's a kitsch hotel which is lots of fun. The restaurant and bar are very cool but the hotel rooms themselves are somewhat average. No safe, no minibar fridge, no air conditioner, no fan, no room service. We made the mistake of booking the mezzanine... More

The location is very good with nice neighborhood, close to all transportation (buses, Metro). Unfortunately the design of the rooms is a bit strange. It is too colorful and dark. There is no table in the room, so in case you plan to work with your papers and laptop you can forget about it, or you have to go downstairs... More

Dear Anna H, We appreciate that you liked our location and supportive staff. The style of the hotel tends to be different from the big chain hotels .We try to offer a warmer and different atmosphere where people can disconnect from the everyday life. If you really need a bigger room with a desk, I would recommend you to book... More

Since 4 am I heard all sort of loud noises. At 6:00 am the reciclying truck made such noise I thought a demolition was taking place. The hotel is beautiful but when you' ve been on a plane for more than 20 hours it is probably not the best place to sleep. Today... A lady has been on the phone... More

Dear Maria, First of all, we would like to thank you for choosing the Le Berger while visiting Brussels and for sharing your experience on TripAdvisor. I feel really disappointed by the fact, that you were disturbed by the noise from the street. I can only imagine how distracting it was for you after 20 hour journey. Unfortunately we cannot... To cut right to the chase, this hotel has bed bugs. I booked two nights and by 2 AM the first night I wake up to bed bugs crawling all over me. I quickly discover that they had been living between the mattress and the wall. They put me into a different room for the rest of the night (not... More

Dear Sir, Wow, this is a sever "review". Although we totally understand this critic, let me tell you why we think it is partially unfair: the enemy is not the one you think it is. The enemy is not the hotel. Or the poor receptionist that was as shocked as you (she literally lives/sleep there as well). The enemy is... More

Friends of mine and I had a lovely dinner with a great Italian wine choice. The service was really nice and we enjoyed communicating with the staff. The food was delicious and the atmosphere really different compared to what you usually get in Brussels.

Liked the location - close to the metro and you can walk to the Grand Place in 10 mins and Midi in 30 mins - good breakfast - room clean but dark and as its on the ground floor by the courtyard it's really noisy until after midnight and the smoke from the outdoor smokers comes into the room

Super good stay at the hotel, we were checked in by Céline who gave us an upgrade to a room with a bathtub on the 5th floor, the room was super clean. The area is nice, no trafic on the street, the hotel has a real Brussels touch in the deco, and a super lobby-bar-restaurant with sofas and table to... More
