This is an historical property and in the centre of the wildflower country. Its pleasantly informal and has plenty of friendliness and homeliness. There is a reasonable menu for the evening and generous helpings with great value for money. There is an extensive beer and wine selection. The owner and staff are brilliant. It's filled with friendly locals who always...

There was a kitchen mix up so no soups but the main course meals were home style and generous in size....

Although the accomodation is very basic the beds were OK. The amenities are a long way from the rooms. We were not hungry that night & were pleased with the large bowl of home made soup on the menu. A simple continental breakfast was available in the morning. Nothing flash but friendly & OK
