Very exciting place with history. Really good bed and breakfast and the restaurant served excellent dinner. The family who run this hotel and their staff were sweet and helpful.
We will return some day.

This was one of the coolest stays in Germany. 1000 year old castle with modern conveniences!! Best restaurant experience in all of Germany as well with a view of the German countryside. They grow their own venison. Service was amazing and so was the food.

Hi.. The castle is a family run business. There isn't s bar as such, just a restaurant in the courtyard. It's a fantastic setting tho. I get the feeling that they would stay open until you had finished. They certainly did for us, which was around 10pm. People were having drinks there in the afternoon from about 4pm tho - possibly earlier as that was when we arrived. Hope that helps.
