The property is gorgeous and as advertised. The terrace level was beautiful and great views. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The location was a bit challenging with kids as the train station and nearest town were downhill so coming back, we had to do an Uber. Trust me,

We enjoyed the stay a lot. We received a very friendly welcome upon arrival late in the evening. The service was very good. Marvelous lake view, wine degustation, a parking spot free of charge. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake. We liked the view and the fresh fruit

Hello Ekaterina L. Very happy to hear your comment, most useful to us. Yes, the view is nice and the breakfast on the terrace is one of the delights we love to provide. There clearly was an error from our part on your breakfast on the morning you were here. Our breakfasts offers a great choice of local products and we are very very sorry that you apparently were not served the dishes you deserved. Our staff has been told about it. Please if it had to happen, you have to complain directly to the staff. Our breakfast is composed of eggs, local cheese, ham from the region, cereals, butter, home made jam with fruit from our garden, yogurt, bread and croissants from the bakery, butter, milk, fresh fruit, and apple juice from the farm. All this is not on a buffet but directly served at your table, and we ask you regularly if you need more of anything. In general, it is always better to ask directly the staff or even the direction of the establishment where you stay, rather than to be disappointed, and to have to write about it afterwards. Thank you again. Hoping to see you again.

This property is absolutely beautiful, set amid vineyards and walking paths. We had a wonderful accommodation in the upstairs with several rooms and perfect for a family; it was the lumiere room. The view was absolutely spectacular. The room was airy. The bathroom, towels, and

If we were to judge this stay on location alone, it’s 5 stars. The scenery is beautiful: wineries, an enormous lake and the alps. Unfortunately, there’s an air of passive-aggression throughout and it doesn’t live up to the suggestions on the website. Our view of the lake was

Thank you, Jim E, for your review. It's very useful for us to know how we can be perceived by our guests. After we read your opinion, we immediately decided to change the texts that affected you in the kitchen, as we try very hard to be welcoming also to very sensitive guests. About the view you're complaining about, unfortunately we cannot remove the old house that is visible from your flat, a historic mansion. Luckily, we notice that the great majority of our visitors are very happy to see that 150 years old building, as well as the lake and the Alps, from the windows of their flat, the very same flat that you had and where you seem to have had difficulties with the sight of the lake it provided. But the most simple way to take advantage of the remarkable scenery at Domaine du Burignon is, especially in summertime where temperatures are nice, to explore our gardens and terrace. For this, simply step down a little stairway to the outdoor until you reach the lawn that is in front of your flat and eventually lie down on a deckchair, or even take a few more steps to the terrace in front of the main house. There is a kind of 180 degrees panoramic view that the huge majority of the tourists passing by qualify of stunning, or awesome, or even remarkable. We are really sorry that you could not distinguish it. We hope you will enjoy the rest of your holiday.

The owner was quite helpful and welcomed and I felt really comfortable. It is among the beautiful wine yard and St. Saphorin station is less than 15 min walking distance. The path is actually very steep and not good for people with heavy luggage, but very lovely pass through a

Thank you, Akiko, for your nice review. Yes, you enjoyed arriving on foot because you are a good climber and you were carrying a (small) backpack. Our guests who arrive by train with their suitcases should avoid it upon arrival, get out of the train in Vevey and take a taxi to our place (5-10 minutes, about 20 to 25.- chf.). Indeed, the path from the St-Saphorin ttrain station to Domaine du Burignon has a waterfall, a fountain, an almond tree, it's idyllic, romantic and most enjoyable, if you are wearing the right shoes. There are lots of steps. Don't come here with high heels ;) We're looking forward to hosting you again.
