Hotel's Favorite
I stayed at this hotel in August for an overnight trip alone. I found the hotel to be very clean and quiet. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. The grounds surrounding the hotel were beautiful and there are different walking paths nearby. The breakfast was delicious. The baths were delightful. I would highly recommend a stay.

We have come here yearly since 2018. Our experience has been uniformly stellar across the board. The hotel provides unparalled value. The rooms are great (this year we even got an upgrade for a small fee), they are immaculate. The service staff at the front desk, restaurant and pools are friendly and efficient. The grounds are a pleasure to walk around. Now, a couple of suggestions ... Please bring back breakfast in the historic room and bring the Bösenderfer piano back to life! Keep up the good work!

I started spending a few days in Lavey after returning from trips across the Atlantic to beat jet lag and get back in sync with Swiss timing. When the pandemic hit and travel was off limits, I broadened my criteria for a trip to Lavey to relaxation and simply enjoying a great place.

This was our second visit to Lavey les Bains. We usually go for our birthdays and always remind ourselves to visit more often but time just flies by. This visit was as good as the first. Great service and efficient.

We had a voucher this time for 1 night at the hotel in Lavey les Bains, 2 days in the spas, dinner included. Everything was excellent as always. The quality of the dinner buffet and breakfast is better than any place we have stayed. We were very chilled after 2 days at the spas.

The hotel is marvellous - clean, cosy, warm mineral water. You should spend more days to enjoy all of it. Just two irritating things: can’t make photos in the pools and can’t try just the deserts in a restaurant - you have to order an entire menu. But that’s the policy of the hotel.

We are delighted that you enjoyed our Hotel as well as the thermal baths and you are right, you need to stay several days to really enjoy it! As far as the photos are concerned, we understand your frustration but as the guests are in their swimming suits we would like to ensure that privacy is respected. As for the dessert buffet, you can add it for CHF 15.00 but it is sometimes preferable to take the half-board which is a reduced rate of CHF 47.00 which gives access to all the buffets. I went with my mum for a spa weekend. We were very happy the service. Everyone is nice and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay. Nice that you have access to the spa directly from the hotel. The room was big and had a nice view.

Good experience in general, the breakfast is good, as is the the buffet in the restaurant. The thermal baths are great. The room was too warm for me and my wife. It was around 5°C outside and the room heating radiator was at its minimum whereas the bathroom radiator was probably stuck fully opened. We had to sleep with the window open at its top. Other than that it was a pretty good experience.

The facilities (sauna, steam, etc.) are too crowded for the hotel guests to enjoy. The time allocated exclusively for hotel guests to use the facility between 7:30-9am is very short. And the few facilities that are supposed to be functioning during this time are not. For example, we were are the 'Espace Oriental' this morning and most of the rooms (hammam, steam, etc.) had their doors open and were being cleaned and were too cold to use. And then we have to rush for breakfast, which ends at 10am.

Dear Guest, We are sorry to hear that our establishment did not please you at all. It is indeed very busy during the school holidays and festive periods, you are right and we invite you to come back at another time if you can. As for the facilities not working, your comments are totally wrong and we don't think that's right on your part because for the opening exclusive to the hotel's guests there is only 1 indoor pool, 1 outdoor pool as well as 1 hammam which are open and this has nothing to do with a malfunction but it's a partial opening as we explain at the time of your arrival. From 9.00 am everything is then open and working! The other saunas and hammams are therefore "cold" and with the door open because they are simply not activated. Regards,
