This place is magical and peaceful. A step back in time (in the best possible way). The hosts are friendly, the cottage was spotless and there is no noise apart from happy cows and miniature ponies. Would recommend!

We had the best time ever staying here and made memories we will never forget. The accomodation Is charming, and you will feel instantly at peace as soon as you arrive. We cooked, relaxed on the verandahs, took our pets who also had a blast, went on some walks and had a heap of friendly cows hang out with us by the fire pit. Once in a lifetime and I wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommend

This is the perfect location to kick back and relax while enjoying the Panoramic views of Mt Cooroora, and the hinterlands. The hosts were extremely welcoming upon arrival, as we're the locals . Don't be surprised if you are enjoying breakfast on the balcony and see cows within 5ms of the property line. They eager await your leftovers. Cosy and comfortable, this house sports a fire pit, heater, a full kitchen and bbq area not to mention a gorgeous spa bath. Must visit Queensland ❤️ A BIG thank you to our hosts. We loved our stay! We have a beautiful time staying at the Heritage cottage! I was a little unsure if the space would be enough for my husband and I plus our baby and my mother. But it was just perfect. We could enjoy a great mountain feel and still have a nice day at Noosa Beach! The house was so cute and we found everything we need for our stay! Super clean and a magic scenario inside the land with poneys and cows and birds! Oh and we had a great night fire under the stars too.

We stayed at the Kangaroo Lodge and we found it so very peaceful with beautiful views across the mountains. So if you want a peaceful break, I would highly recommend it. We also enjoyed watching the birdlife from the little verandah.

The kids enjoyed the Avalon Cottage, our first farmstay experience. The cottage was above my expectation, did my research before the trip so we bought in our own foods, bought a couple of kilo of carrots to feed the animals, the only thing that was out of our expectation is the quality of drinking water. It was yellowish after boiled, but that is not a problem we did have enough drinking water with us for just 1 night stay. It was a farm and was possibly off grid, so we did not mind. Just prepare enough drinking water if you plan to stay longer (or buy from local IGA store) . Overall the cottage has been an unique experience for us. Thanks Steve

Beautiful property for anyone looking to relax away from city life. Plenty bush walks and wildlife to see. Feed the colourful birds from your veranda in the morning. The miniature horses are very friendly and are always looking for attention.

Nice little cottage not far from main coastal area, private and laid-back. Cottage itself is rustic and aged, but comfortable. Nice touch with mini-horses visiting you for treats each morning. Places to walk and views worth seeing, fire-pit to ponder. Families with small kids should like the spot, teenagers maybe not. Nice restaurants and cafes nearby, easy access to highways. Worth a thought if travelling around the area.

As we had done two years ago we rented the complex for a family Christmas week: 14 people across 3 generations, plus dogs. Positives: Again, the cottages were perfect for our purpose: close enough to get together for dinners at the Homestead; but far enough apart for privacy. The setup was ideal for our dogs; and importantly, the cost was reasonable, especially considering it was Christmas. The bedding and lounges were reasonably comfortable and the linen of good quality. Negatives: Although the cottages were clean & tidy, there were several aspects (especially the wooden decking on most verandahs) in need of carpentry, upkeep/ repair. Overall: The Kangaroo Lodge is modern, with a wonderful outlook; and would be great for a relaxing or romantic get-away. The other cottages are 'showing-their-age' but are good for people with dogs; and are, in our opinion, good value for money.
