We enjoyed the hiking trails close by including Alison Lake and Shannon Falls. It was like being in the Enchanted Valley of the Olympic Peninsular. The cabin was updated and very warm. We especially liked the heated floors in the bathroom. We already set up our christmas vacation here for next year. Two salmon rivers next to the cabin was... More

I want to be fair, but I have to say a few things. They are nice friendly people and I wanted to like this place but perhaps it was the dreary winter weather? Nice setting with the river, but right on the rail road tracks. Prepare to get woken up once during the night. Cabin 6. Door lock sticks and... More

Hi Jeremy, You're right the weather was just horrific, it rained and rained and rained. Typical Pacific Northwest weather for this time of year! Thank you for your feedback, it’s really important for us to get constructive feedback from our guests so we can continuously improve our service and product. Our apologies for the lack of cutting board and the... More

My wife and I rented a cabin here as a romantic getaway, and it was excellent. We loved the coziness of the cabin, much of which was built with reclaimed materials and the antiques that were used as decorations. The wood-burning stove was a nice touch to an already idyllic atmosphere of being in an isolated mountain forest. We'll be... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. You summed the cabin up beautifully. We put allot of thought and passion into making our cabins warm and homely and yes the wood burner is always a nice feature. Isolation is sometimes a wonderful thing but for those seeking people and delicious food we offer Fergie's cafe... More

The cabin was beautiful and warm. It was very relaxing and I'm glad there was no tv so that we could really unwind. Breakfast was delicious as well at the restaurant! I think we might even enjoy it more during the summer. We will be back!

Beautiful place!!! Great for families with kids and dogs. I would say it's a dog paradise! We stayed there in January and it was beautiful. Cold outside and very cosy inside cabins. We also visited Sunwolf 5 years ago in summer and it was great too. Love this place ! Will visit it again in the future.

Our family of 5, (3 kids, aged 10, 7 and 6) had probably the best tour of our lives. We had a private family tour to watch the bald eagles in jan 2015. The owners were very friendly. The tour was magical, we managed to see over 140 bald eagles, which was followed by a walk through n enchanting forest... More

Yesterday I experenced floating down the Cheakamus River with the sun shining and snow all around. It was a magical experience with eagles everywhere in the trees, skys and even feeding on fish on the snow. Our guide shared her enthusiasm and knowledge of the eagles and surrounding area as she gently paddled the Zodiac down the meandering river. I... More

We stayed in Cabin #2 for three nights while visiting the area right after Christmas. Originally, we just wanted a quiet, beautiful place to relax and do nothing, but then we learned that we'd be there at the peak eagle-viewing time, so we also signed up for a raft "float" down the river for eagle-watching. With the exception of a... More
