The room I had was in the back so not too much noise, the hotel is situated on one of the main roads. The room was pleasant, the bathroom and the room were very clean. Bed was comfy. Overall pleasant stay.

Rooms are good and adequate and clean, service is very good. Ask for a room at the back, they are quieter. Eating in the cosy large dinner-room is a treat. The menu is mouth-watering and the wine-list extensive. All tables are booked on a tuesday-evening, many city-residential guests. And some cosy atmosphere!

Michelin star with a difference. It is actually not that expensive for what it is.. The service is superb and the FRESH frogs legs are amongst the best ever. Like all Michelins, there are a lot of "free" "tapas" throughout the meal. Crucial to book in advance.

Some redecoration done since my last visit a few years ago. The rooms remain with the same simple décor and are still good value. Very clean. I find the cuisine over elaborate, not achieving the desired results. But I enjoyed my dinner, which I would rate 4/5. Excellent Pigeon jus d´Oignons corsés. Warm welcome.

We stayed here in October and November this year and each time asked for rooms overlooking the car park at the rear of the hotel. They were comfortable and quiet; plain in style and with lots of room. The restaurant is very special indeed. The food is classy and very cheffy - with lots of humour thrown in with the... More

We have stopped at this hotel on our journeys north and south to the South of France for many years. The rooms are very simple but clean and adequate. On this occasion there was a smell of disinfectant when we arrived which was not pleasant. The restaurant has always provided wonderful food but sadly since M. Chazot died the food... More

We stopped here on the way from UK to the Alps. We chose mainly for the family room that could accommodate all 5 of us, very reasonably. The room was fine: clean and basic. Nothing special but that's what we expected. The restaurant was however excellent. Interesting, innovative food beautifully cooked and presented. The 42€ menu provided 4 good courses... More

this could be the perfect stopover on journeys to the south of france or spain, just off the autoroute but a very pretty town on the Saone. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and were completely relaxed about our small dog. The annex rooms are basic but perfectly comfortable. our room was so clean that there was a lingering... We stayed here breaking a south-north journey. Had very fond memories of a great restaurant with good, inexpensive rooms, safe parking, and quiet –i.e., everything you are looking for on such a journey – when we last stayed here about 20 years ago. It’s in the same hands. Has been enlarged, but the rooms are still good, spacious, with large... More
