We wanted to take the children somewhere different and we wanted to show them a little bit of Somerset, so we visited Cheddar, Wells, Wookie Hole and Bath. We stayed in the executive room at the Langford Inn for 4 nights and we were very pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. We were all in one room with... More

For the night before an early morning flight from Bristol Airport I searched for hotels online local to the airport to stay as a family of 5. The Langford Inn didn't disappoint at all. Not only did they have the perfect room for us, it was good value and we all enjoyed a lovely meal in the bar/restaurant too. A... More

Spent two nights here in a family suite whilst attending a family event. Room looked lovely, had twin beds downstairs and a double on a mezzanine floor, there was an accessible wet room. The downstairs was really cold and drafts but upstairs much warmer. Lots of cobwebs but in an old stone building I can understand that. Looking at photos... More

Never been here before and I was quite impressed. However, the 'Sizzling Beef' dish was more like 'Sizzling Gristle' although maybe it was a bad day for the butcher as otherwise the food was really good and offered excellent value for money. They did apologise but didn't offer a token gesture which other establishments I know would do. A free... More

Ate here twice, once on the way to airport and ate and slept one night on way back. Cottage was clean, comfortable and warm once we had put the heater on. Good coffee and tea facilities. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. Food was OK but not that good, unable to remember what we actually ate. Service was good.

My wife and I stayed one night in one of the Langford Inn's cottages for our last night in the area. The Inn is ideally suited for catching flights from Bristol Airport. We found everything to be first class. The cottage was equipped with all we required and we had a very enjoyable evening meal and breakfast in he Inn.... More

We stayed for 2 nights in the Blagdon suite, room was great with four beds on 2 floors giving us a separate space to the children. Good location for Weston and Cheddar. A bit over priced as was the food and bar, the room wasn't the cleanest but on mentioning bathroom was rectified. All being said would stay again but... More

Stayed here for one night after a wedding near by. The room provided all that we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well. The buildings are very pretty and plenty of parking available.

Popped in here for an evening bite to eat as staying locally. At 8pm they'd stopped selling sandwiches and there were no spaces in the restaurant. However, the pub wasn't that busy. We negotiated to order a starter each, which we ate in the bar... pate and creamed mushrooms with stilton. It was OK, but nothing special. Nothing really to... More

Although I am a local resident I hadn't been to the LI for a few years. When I revisited I was pleasantly surprised. I knew the parking facilities were somewhat restricted but when we arrived at 6pm, the whole experience was very enjoyable! The tables were nearly all occupied so there was a good atmosphere. The staff were pleasant and... More
