We visited this pub with relatives and had an excellent lunch. The food was interesting, very tasty and well-presented. The staff was friendly and helpful and there was a wine suggestion with each dish. We chose from the regular menu as it was a special occasion so cannot comment on 'lunch menu'. Very busy, even on a Monday lunchtime.

Enjoyed a fantastic Valentines Day lunch with my better half here. Have been many times before and will keep coming back. A gem in the Suffolk countryside with great beer, service, food and rooms. Thanks!

Just went for lunch. Inclusive lunch menu not tempting. Delicious chicken in Marsala though accompanying "veg" not overly generous. Menu seemed lacking in pasta dishes which would have been my preference. Good atmosphere and excellent service from helpful waiter. Excellent sweet option whereby you could chose a bite sized desert plus coffee. Prices as expected

First time here as reviews were great. Staff good, lovely atmosphere. Food quality OK but I opted for the all inclusive lunch menu, three courses for £18 including coffee. The starter of liver pate was the size of a large postage stamp and the dessert of chocolate and hazelnut fudge was the size of a small postage stamp. Main course...

An absolutely delicious meal and very reasonable prices considering the quality. We came quite early in the evening 6:30 didn't book, ambience of a quaint old pub but quality food. I had the vegetarian option . Starters great. A choice of normal size or just small tasters.

We brought friends to The Crown confident that we would have a lovely meal. Our expectations were exceeded. I had hake, beautifully cooked with crisp skin in buttery sauce with clams and served with a herb mash, salsify and griddled fennel, vegetables I wouldn't normally cook at home. Dessert a mini portion of meringues in blood orange sauce and glaze....

Visited with my fiancé today at 12 o clock I'm glad we booked a table as they reserved a nice table near the window overlooking well maintained patio garden area. The food was top notch again I had salmon with sprouting broccoli wild mushrooms and crayfish butter sauce which was really tasty. My fiancé had mallard breast wilted spinach and...

We were passing, and hungry, and dropped in on New Year's Day at lunchtime, expecting to be turned away. But no, the friendly staff found us a table with a view despite being very busy with a full restaurant and bar. The place has an amazingly chic countryside atmosphere, with proper linen and lots of attentive service. We opted for...
