Beautiful place in a fantastic, secluded setting. Nested in a small bay, almost on the (rocky) beach, we had a spacious studio, with a very enjoyable terrace overlooking the sea. The whole complex is among olive trees, which will provide shade for your car the private parking. Part of Palia Damouchari is restaurant and bar on the beach, that also features some lounges. Staff is absolutely fantastic and extremely helpful.

With a privileged location overlooking the beach, but only a couple of minutes away from it, this bnb is an excellent choice for those who seek for relaxation away from the masses. The wild setting of Damouhari and the peaceful olive groves around make this place uniquely remoted, close to the rest of the settlement but away at the same time. A great choice if you are happy with the basics. Parking seats in the property for those who can't leave their vehicle far behind is also a big plus. On the other hand, although the infrastructure is great and the establisment is well preserved, a rather hard task during and after the winter, the extra little touch is definitely missing. The room is not inviting since there is no decoration, and with a lack of lighting design you are left with a feeling of coldness. Moreover, facilities are way outdated, or better said, there are a lot missing, i.e. a microwave (always useful for families with babies) or an espresso machine can be found everywhere these days. Also, in a destination like this, maybe you do not mind if the telly comes from the past decade, but a stable internet connection is really important.

When we arrived in Damouchari we had no idea how to find the apartments, but a phone call was all that was necessary for our host to come running and guide us the last few meters to the parking lot adjacent to our rooms. We were 4 people in two apartments; one with a porch and one with a patio. Both the rooms are simply furnished and showed some sign of wear, but spacious and clean. Our views were of Damouchari Beach a few meters away and magnificent. The grounds are green and attractive with flowers and olive trees. I imagine it depends on which other guests are staying at the apartments, but while we were there it was very quiet. The kitchen has all the basic utensils and dishes for small meals, plus a small refrigerator and electric burners, but no supplies other than salt and pepper. We tried the hotel's taverna but preferred the cooking at the taverna "in town" (a 2 minute stroll from the apartments). The host was pleasant but we only saw him on arrival and when we checked out. Would definitely recommend!

Pelion is beautiful, these apartments are in perfect position, the price is acceptable, therefore there is no question that anyone visiting Pelion should consider coming here. I will try to be practical: Before coming here you should be informed about exact position, considering that last 500m are on a private road. It is not a problem; you just need to know the exact position. There is a parking in front of the apartments for 4-5 cars and guests occupying the apartments in higher position would probably find this one more convenient. Other can park their cars below the apartments in olive garden. All apartments face east and if you like sunrises you would appreciate this, if you prefer to sleep longer in the morning, don’t forget to pull on the curtains. We were party of 3 families, staying 14 days in July 2016. All apartments are actually large studios, since all beds are in one room. Rooms are very spacious, comfortable, clean and with enough storage (or room on the floor for suitcases). Kitchen is small as in any studio, however there is everything that one can need for preparing meals. Children beds are actual beds and not sofas, however they are smaller and anyone over 150cm might have a problem. Bathroom is also not very large, however larger than we are used to see in Greece (my husband with his 100kg for the first time did not complain about the size of shower cabin). Rooms were cleaned every 2-3 days. Every apartment has either terrace or a small patio, with either natural shade from olives or a parasol. Owner of the apartments also owns tavern on the beach, so you can find him there as no one would really bother you at the apartments. Beach is without sunbeds and parasols and with large pebbles or stones, so it is not comfortable for lying the entire day, however water is beautiful and since waves are common for Pelion, and this beach is a bit protected, it can be very useful. Village of Damouchari, is probably the smallest one on the coast of Pelion, but at the same time the most charming and the oldest one. There is a small shop, that has all that you can need for meals, including bread. Also, there are several taverns and souvenir/pastry shop the no one should miss. Note to owner: more hooks for towels would be a good idea; when 3 families (12 person) come in the evening at the same time and all want to shower, hot water disappears; mosquito nets should be replaced.

Being Fifth meters from the beach, having a local restaurant at your doorstep, and a handful of other places offering pleasure is rare nowadays. Pelion itself is a miracle, and this spot is the gem of it all. Couple of hundereds of meters to Papa Nero beach, stroll to Agios Ioannis, rich nature, smells of Mesogion (mediterran). Apartment is great , some Fifty sqm, fully furnished, pet friendly. You dont have a feeling that you have neighbours at all. Free parking, wifi, and number of other amenities make your stay comfortable. And the Food offered locally is great. I recommend wholeheartedly stay here.

I have spent 9 nights in August 2013 in the facility. It consists of three houses, each having four apartments. It was easy reserving it on a short notice by contacting the owners through their web site. The facility is positioned just over the Damouchari beach and next to the village and a small harbour. The room is OK, well for three adult persons, and the amenities were OK. The terrace and sitting there was great, as you would face the see and the olive trees. Around, you have a choice of restaurants, including the owner's with great see food. The owners are hospitable. When in Damouchari you can walk to Papa Nero Beach which is quite near, and also to Ai. Ioannis.
