Stayed at Les Fuchsias for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We needed a handy b&b near Calais and one which would take dogs. The house is tastefully decorated and feels lovely and old and French - just the ambience we wanted. The bedroom was pretty with a beautiful window and shutters, looking out over the gorgeous garden.... More

I chose to return to Les Fuschias some 9 years after my previous, very enjoyable, visit. The place was as charming as I remembered, and the hosts as friendly. We stayed in La Chambre Bleu, very comfortable, beautifully furnished, plenty of room. Francis and Bernadette, the owners, were very engaging and helpful. Love the feel of this house and its... We enjoyed a 1-night stay at this lovely quaint French b&b 2 weeks ago en route to the Alsace and switzerland. The room was spotless and just lovely and the owners so friendly. Breakfast was great and just what we needed for the long drive ahead. We would definitely recommend this b&b.

We stayed there for 3 nights in august 2014. We had rented the two bedroom top floor. I turned out to be a very good choice: the top floor is a separate quarter with one room for the children and one for the parents or grandparents and common bathroom. I is nicely decorated, although somewhat from another age. The breakfast... More

We had booked a night in Ardres in another guest house, but that guest house had to change plans and put us in touch with Bernadette at Les Fuschsias. We (2 adults, 2 teenagers and a well-behaved dog!!)arrived after a long day of driving at Les Fuschsias and received a very warm welcome from Bernadette and her husband. We were given... More

Lovely, lovely, lovely......we booked this B & B at very short notice after seeing a review on the sawdays website and we were not disappointed. Not only was there a prompt response to our enquiry in english but nothing was too much trouble and although we arrived very late ( around midnight because we were delayed) Bernadette was there to... We haven't stayed here for a few years but it was as lovely as ever. The owners are very welcoming. We love the breakfast with the home made jams. Rooms clean and comfortable. Lovely garden. Nothing to fault at all.

very friendly arrival by the owners. Lovely rooms and very clean. Handy for Calais and at least somewhere to walk to to eat on a sunday night which isnt often easy around here. Walked to Eurolac which had great mussels.

I am writing this as I don't know another way of adding the photos I took this time as it was sunny! The stay, as usual, was perfect. They really look after you here. When Francis heard we needed petrol he sent his daughter along with my husband as he said the pumps were temperamental. This proved to be the case... More

We have spent a night or two at Les Fuchsias for the past five summers now and will return next year. It's the perfect resting place after a long day in the car. The large garden is ideal for children and dogs who have been cooped up in the car all day. The bedrooms are charming - pretty, spotlessly clean... More
