This hotel booked first, the rest of our French vacation had a lot to live up to. My stay at this hotel is a direct result of poring over Tripadvisor reviews in the planning stage months before our vacation. I fell in love with the idea of this hotel and its location and immediately booked us 5 days at Le... More

Loved this hotel. The location is simply stunning and the hotel is rustic but beautiful. Our room was gorgeous, we had both garden and sea views and it was perfect. The breakfast in the morning was ample, fresh bread, jams, pastries and freshly squeezed orange juice all lovely but was disappointed you had to pay extra for items that would... More

What a discovery. This island is just a 40 minute boat ride from the coast of France. The Manoir Hotel seems to be out of a early 20th century story like Hercule Poirot or Agatha Christie. I actually thought up a story playing out in this exclusive setting. The service received was great. A porter greeted us at the ferry... More

Had the opportunity of 2 nights at this really charming Hotel on Port Cros, Le Manoir is a very simple and well presented Hotel with grounds not far from the Port. Given this is an island and this is the only hotel on it, the standard of service and facilites were first class. A bit of detective work is required... More

Fantastic place on this charming Island. Have been there for many years and have never been disappointed ! One of the most romantic and unexpected restaurant under the trees in this wonderful property away from it all. Delicious food and very friendly service.

This place is unbelievably Old School. To the point that I don't want to tell you about it, it's that real. The kitchen is as good as any restaurant I have been too thanks to their simplicity, local product ( it's their garden), and lots of experimentation with spices. It's REAL. Think "Le Gloire de Mon Pere" or a Fernandel... More

This has been a very difficult review to write, for reasons which will become clear. In the first place we were there for three days in mid-September, which is low season. There were never more than 20 guest at dinner, and sometimes as few as 12. So it was very quiet. And for three days we had a fierce mistral... More

We stayed recently for 4 nights. Le Manoir has a rather timeless atmosphere and a simple, idyllic charm. It is not cheap, in part because everything including water has to be brought onto the island. Bedrooms are furnished simply but are very comfortable. Nb: no TV, and the Wi-Fi does not reach bedrooms. I would describe the food as hearty... More

Excellent setting, one of a kind view and atmosphere, the place seems untouched since the 50's if not earlier. The food is fresh and very good and the service is excellent in the restaurant, a bit less in the hotel. Great place if you are searching for a place to rest and relax.

My husband and I and two friends have made an annual pilgrimage to lunch at le Manoir for the last 8 years. We have always enjoyed the afternoon , the short boat trip, the pretty harbour, the stroll to the beach and back to that lovely garden where setting, service food wine and good company made for a perfect day...
