A really nice hotel with some beautiful rooms. The hotel is well positioned to be accessed via train (nearest train station is approx. 50m away). The staff was friendly and always ready to help. Overall, a clear recommendation!

Our stay at Valrose was an amazing experience. The staff is incredible, anticipating every single need or want you could possibly ever have. The place itself feels really cosy and welcoming. And the food, super tasty and so elegantly presented. We will be back.

This is a lovely hotel in a quiet and unspoilt Swiss villages. It was just over ten years since our previous trip to Rougemont, and at that time the Valrose was closed. We were very please to return recently to find that not only hasn't the village itself changed much - there are more interesting eating options now! - but the Valrose has been renovated and now provides comfy accommodation and excellent food. But, as always, the difference between a reasonable and an excellent stay is the staff, and all the people who worked on the hotel were very friendly and efficient.

Our Swiss (national) newspaper said not to miss this superbly well renovated hotel in the beautiful Bernese Alps (near Gstaad). Spot on. It has been lovingly restored to the highest standards - contemporary and elegant but wonderfully cosy with well appointed guest rooms, a great bar & brasserie, an elegant dining room and a welcoming al-fresco patio. The food is excellent (14GM) and the service is impeccable - a friendly and welcoming young professional team. Not to be missed.
