When we decided to spend an additional night in Interlaken, we went to the Information Center for help to find a room. The few rooms available were over $300, so we indicated we were willing to stay in a nearby village. The young man at the Center found us a room at this lovely…
My brother’s family and my own visited Brienz, altogether with two kids. We had high expectations to enjoy the holidays and stay but, unfortunately, the whole experience was ruined by the hotel service. At the beginning of the booking, they were not too keen to accommodate kids,…

We stayed at this sub standard hotel over the Christmas period with Ledger tours, it had no Bar or Lounge where you could sit and mingle with your fellow guests, no gala evening with music and dancing that we were expecting.staff were very curt.
Stayed at this hotel over Christmas, worst Christmas I have ever had, no entertainment at all , no bar , one of the staff a dark haired small women very ignorant . We left early morning and did not even get a hot drink.

"Our room was very practical being, but I think the older building is more charming"
"Room 23 (side) Lake and mountain view, closest to church which on a hot night, with windows opens, the bells ring every 15minutes."
"Rooms at the back have lovely mountain view and are away from the road"
"Warning to those of you who like to go to bed early in peaceful quiet, try to get a room on the other side of the hotel because even on the 3rd floor and all windows closed it would be quite noisy on a warm summer's evening. Take your own pillow if, like me, you dislike fluffy feather pillows which reduce to nothing as soon as you lie down - this goes for most hotels in the region."
