My family and I recently Switzerland for the first time and after doing some research, we chose this hotel - and we lucked out. This place was fantastic! Upon check in, we were greeted immediately, and given a clean and ready room. There was ample parking for us in the back. The hotel host walked us to our room, informed...

We only stayed one night on our way to Schilthorn. Great atmosphere. Real character hotel. Rustic. Clean, friendly staff, great key system for the rooms and really good breakfast. I am a coeliac and so I purchased bread rolls and cornflakes from Aldi in Interlacken before we arrived. We walked around the small town and took great photos of the...

The hotel was extremely clean and the food in the restaurant was excellent. The breakfast buffet was very good. The restaurant, breakfast area reception and stairs leading to the first floor where the lobby/general seating area is had great Swiss charm and character. There is no lift in the hotel. The receptionist was not particularly friendly either on arrival or...

The hotel itself is a beautiful old structure. The owners and staff have done a great job modernizing it while keeping much of the old world charm. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful; they really been over backwards to inform and assist. There are a couple of downsides compared to modern hotels. You can only get Wi-Fi in...

Myself, partner and adult children stayed here for the weekend. What a lovely little hotel! The receptionist and staff were all very helpful, polite and friendly. The restaurant area is very pretty with traditional decor. Food was pricey compared to the U.K. but in line with local rates. We had the bolognaise or the beef rosti and both were excellent....

Little issue with room heating system and wifi signal(on top floor single room) otherwise this hotel is very good. Room, bathroom, bed, sitting table chair, are all nice clean and beautiful. The front office lady was very helpful and helped me by giving all the information that I needed. That lady at reception and those in serving breakfast were polite,...

The owner of this hotel is so rude. She treated us as if we were potential criminals and she kept saying no to everything. There was nothing but sleeping in the hotel. I felt like I was a child scolded by a mad teacher. Moreover, room is very cold and old. Breakfast was so effortless.

My wife and I visited for lunch with 4 other family members. The service was excellent and the food was very good. My wife had the Rosti with Bacon and I had the Chefs Rosti with Beef. Both dishes were very nice and the servings generous. The beef in particular was cooked to perfection, medium to rare and very tender.

We did not stay at the hotel, but came here for dinner on the last night of our vacation. The cheese fondue was wonderful, as were are starters and desserts. The staff was very friendly and helped us get our order in before a large business group came in and sat down. We couldn't have planned a nicer end to...

Average hotel. Service was not gr8. Though rooms are clean. Service staff on front desk was very nice. Owner is rude. Location is good. Close to bus and rail station. Overall an average place, expensive for this value.
