Been once before, will come again. Basic, but friendly and charming. Good breakfast, nice bar and excellent restaurant. Right on the lake, with own private terrace. Beautiful view of the lake from the rooms and restaurant. Perfect! Thanks for such a lovely stay (again)

The hotel is of older style, fully renovated. It is family-owned and the members of the family have different functions, sometimes more than one. The atmosphere was very friendly, informal and easy going. The bed was a dream, new linnen, duvets and pillows. We had room No. 9: It is on the Southwestern corner on the 2nd floor. It was...

Is it only the English who think the Swiss are having a laugh when it comes to prices? A plate of Penne Arrabiatta I could easily make at home for a £1 here costs about £17. The room with the smallest bathroom on our trip which included 3 other European countries cost twice as much as anywhere else we stayed....

This is a small family hotel at the lakeside of a very small town in Lugano, Morcote. Morcote itself is a very touristic area, nevertheless it is still worth to go there and enjoy a relaxing weekend. I recommend especially to book a room viewing the lake. In the morning you can see the sun rising and the silence of...

“We show our experienc for room No. 9. We can recommend this one, but do not know the others. If you have time, take the bus to Lugano and walk back on the ridge from Monte San Salvatore (3 1/2 hours). Also don't miss a ride on the Lake and visit the church on the mountain and enjoy the view.”
