I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 nights in room 11. Huge room looking out to the side. Great shower. Breakfast was good. Husband recommends the craft beer and the young barman was lovely. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is not a particularly efficiently run place and feels a bit like staying in someone you know's house, with that... More

Stopped off here for a couple of nights on our way home from Pitlochry. Hotel was comfortable good sized room staff were friendly . Good choice at breakfast . Would stay there again if we were in the area. Our room was at the front of the hotel but was quiet at a night. Car pack is a bit tight... More

It started at front entrance , dirty then check in , a waitress responded to us ringing bell at reception desk, she said she didn't really know what to do and went off to find someone who did. She couldn't find anyone and attempted to do check in , then the correct person arrived, however there was no welcome, when... More

Like so many others we rang to check availability and were offered the online voucher price, we were also able to book and ring back a week later to pay. Customer service was excellent, extremely helpful letting us into and out of bike store everyday and turned the heating on for an hour to help dry our clothing as much... More

We had a lovely 4 night stay at the hotel with our young son. The hotel is located in a quiet town surrounded by beautiful scenery. Our room was a large family room with a queen size bed, flat screen, unsuite bathroom with tea and coffee facilities. The food was delicious in the restaurant and we enjoyed a fishing trip,... More

Booked this for a 3 night stay. We phoned to check they had rooms for the dates that suited us. We were going to buy a groupon deal. When we phoned the owner gave us the price of the groupon deal without having to go through groupon. Room was large with lovely clean and comfortable beds. We ate in the... More

We purchased a groupon voucher for a 3 night stay. When we arrived on Monday afternoon checked in and we're advised there would be no evening meals available due to the chef suffering a stroke. We got the impression this had just happened and they waiting for someone to take over the kitchen. Another review seems to indicate this happened... More
