A great two night break in the family room. The accommodation was very spacious with plenty of room for two adults and two teenagers. We had a comfortable couple of days whilst visiting the area and we would definitely visit St John's again thanks to the hospitality from Kath and Doug

We visit this part of Yorkshire several times a year and in the past have stayed in various B&Bs and hotels. About three years ago we were very fortunate to discover St. John's House and would now never consider staying anywhere else. Everything about this B&B is first class. The whole place is pristine and comfortable, the views are wonderful,...

A warm, friendly and welcoming family-run guest house, which was a very comfortable spacious place to stay. After walks with friends in the nearby hills it was great to come back to fresh milk with our tea and tasty homemade cake on offer as well as a refreshing hot shower. Really nice big hearty breakfasts (plenty of choice including excellent...

We’ve just returned from our second stay [four nights] at St John’s B & B. This time we had the huge bedroom, which was lovely. It is immaculate with a comfortable king bed as well as a sofa. We really couldn’t even suggest anything to add to the room. One of the four days we were able to watch the...
