My friend and I had been looking forward to our Sunday lunch yesterday. We booked because it being Father's day we thought it would be busy. It wasn't. Having ordered a dry white wine spritzer with soda, the waitress put lemonade in which I accept is easily done. We each ordered the roast beef and being told it came rare... More

Having stayed at 'The Kings Arms' before, this was our second visit. It is really nice that they have the facilities to accommodate four legged friends! Bringing our dog with us meant that we didn't have to worry about some form of doggy care at home, paying the £15 surcharge is absolutely worth it. The room was again not a... More

Had a really lovely 2 night stay here in September 2015 for Goodwood Revival. 20 min drive from Goodwood itself, the car park was filled with the most amazing aray of vintage cars so it must be an extremely popular place to stay during the Revival. The food was excellent and the owners were really lovely and welcoming. We stayed... More

We booked dinner and all six rooms for 12 of us (six adults, six children) to stay overnight, to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary with our bridesmaids and their families. The inn is right on the road, but the rooms are set back behind the main building so were quiet and private. The rooms were well-appointed, with comfy beds, good... More

Another lovely stay at this B&B. Situated about 20mins from the Revival it is a good base! Lovely welcome, rooms very clean and the welcome book has developed over the last 3 years into a really helpful reference point. It's not cheap as a B&B - but I have already booked up for next year! BBQ on Sat night was... More

stayed here the other day, following a wedding nearby. The rooms were lovely, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated, with a careful eye for detail. Only problem was they were very hot!..no a/c, nor any way of cooling down the room. Lovely bathroom, and great tea/coffee machine, although we did find the m/c a bit tricky to work (you need to put... More

It wasn't overly busy when we turned up for lunch today, so we got a warm welcome and a pleasant table tucked away in the bar. We all had starters and then fish and chips. The fish was more like a whale - huge, and a nice change from the miserable offering we get in other establishments. Well presented, with... More

Visited with my family for Sunday Lunch. Between the five of us we had the Roast Beef, Roast Chicken and Fish and Chips. All of which went down extremely well, with the roast beef being probably the best i have had in a pub! The portion sizes are generous (and i am a big eater) and the quality excellent. The... More

A late booking as needed accommodation for Goodwood races and fortunately, the Kings Arms had a room available. Convenient being just north of Midhurst and the main roads south towards the Downs and Goodwood racecourse (went racing 2 days). We did not have massively high expectations other than a typical room at an English pub/inn but we were very pleasantly... More
