Sorrento Centre welcomes large events, small groups and individual guests to relax and enjoy our beautiful 24-acre main campus, including our private waterfront on the Shuswap Lake. Visit hiking trails and biking routes and rest in great beauty. Motel/lodge rooms (some with cooking facilities), private cabins, serviced RV spaces, cozy cabanas and tent sites (including those with a view of Shuswap Lake). Sorrento Centre hosts groups from 5 to 500. We have a large site beside the lake, and varied buildings which can offer great versatility to your organization. We have three lodges with comfortable accommodation, several conference spaces and many beautiful outdoor settings for your group to engage in what excites you. Our kitchen is delighted to provide family style meal service to your group of 12 or more. Three meals a day plus snacks are available, with previous arrangement. We use produce from our own farm whenever possible and love to share the bounty of this place. We cater for some dietary concerns creating vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, and nut free meals when given advance notice. Please ask about choosing your own menu if you have special requests or just loved what you had last time you were visiting.
This place is great for a retreat. They feed you well, the place is clean and bedrooms are generous in the Cartias ( I think I spelled that correctly!) building. The building also has areas on both levels so people can sit with their tea or other beverages and just chill. Nowhere are also fridges , sinks and 'coffee ' areas in these spaces. I also appreciated that they helped one of our group get a boost when her car didn't start. No..sorry we can't help you, it was let us see what we can DO to get you on your way. Super friendly staff everywhere. Great , beautiful setting as well. Challenges ...food service was in a different building and stairs in the accommodation building were tricky for some to navigate.

We hosted a group of 16 cyclists and used the center as a base. The staff were very accommodating to our needs and the beach and shade were a welcome reprieve after a hot ride. There is an excellent variety of routes for road cycling on quiet paved back roads. It was also great to have the town of Sorrento within walking distance.

Well-located resort with many different accommodation options, including camping. Beautifully landscaped property with private beach access to the lake. Staff were very friendly and helpful and never intrusive. Our group of 18 were made to feel welcome and comfortable. While the resort offered most conveniences, there were nearby restaurants, bars, grocery stores if guests needed or wanted anything more. I hope to return to Sorrento Centre in future.

The Sorrento Centre provided a wonderful base for our group to explore the region, including a visit to Salute to the Sockeye, a festival to celebrate salmon spawning. The cabanas held seven people in a cosy and comfortable way, the washroom blocks were just fine, the food was hearty and plentiful, the staff were welcoming and kind, and the grounds were lovely. We have a great bonfire on the beach one evening. I would most certainly bring another group here. The cost was very reasonable and the contentment was considerable.

I have stayed at the Sorrento Centre on several occasions, once in the campsites, and four times in the buildings. Every occasion has been a great experience.
My most recent stay I was one of the upstairs rooms of the two-story lodge with our conference being in the lower level conference hall.
All was great. The room was comfortably appointed with both a double bed and a single one, plenty of drawer space and a comfortable chair/desk unit.
The meals in the next building were well prepared and very tasty.
Overall a great experience this time, as always.

I found my stay to be lovely and comfortable. Rustic in nature but warm in hospitality. We had time to walk around and enjoy the waterfront and also Sorrento community has many things to offer, coffee, groceries, and restaurants. I would recommend Sorrento Centre for everyone!

I stayed at this place with about 45 other family members for a reunion! The place is very well maintained with a nice walk to the beach. The beach is private, nice spot to cool down or read a book in the shade while others swim around. Lots of fun amenities such as a kukuli where we can have nice big meals and roast marshmallows in the fire pit!

We were here recently for a clinic and had a great time. The grounds are lovey with lots of open grass spaces and the private beach is a bonus. Our room in caritas was clean but basic with no air on but we had brought a fan so it was fine. A great place for a group and an outdoor covered fire pit was nice on a coolish night. I hope our group can go there again next week. I know all the Pwd’s would love it
