Stayed for 2 weeks. Nice complex. Lovely view over the beach. I’m getting used to the quiet area. And the beach is quite local, not packed with tourists. But the apartment definitely needs to be modernised. Shower cubicle is way too small. Kept knocking the water onto hot, and I’m not big. Sheets were not acceptable, flannel and knobbly. Very uncomfortable. And I was shocked to hear that there’s a charge for the cushions for sun beds. We’re beach people, but if it’s windy we’ll sit by the pool. The beds are hard plastic. Impossible to use without cushions. Unacceptable! Complex IS nice!! Just a couple of changes would really help.
Hi just stayed at apartment Curasol in Playa del Cura. I stayed in apartment 603, it was right at the top. Lovely spacious apartment with Huge balcony plus 3 chairs and a table. I was on a solo vacation. The receptionist was very helpful and spoke good English. All you can hear whilst drifting off to sleep is the sound of the sea. There are lovely beaches right on your doorstep almost. Loads of activities to book if you are looking for that. Can't wait to return, lovely pools also.
Just returned August 2022 after a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday at Curasol. Large well appointed apartment, spotlessly clean, great staff. Loved the pool and Jacuzzi and no problem getting sunbeds. 150 metres from the spar supermarket, 5 great restaurants and 2 great bars. A great place to chill out. Will definitely go back. Suggest air con in August which is reasonably priced. Excellent continental breakfast and even the pool bar food was excellent. Taxi rank and bus stop 150 metres away. Taxis are cheap. Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogan about 10 minutes away and well worth a visit.
We have stayed here twice, and both times we have loved it. We have stayed in a premium apartment (for my 60th birthday) and then in a standard apartment the year after. Both were good, the premium had 2 bedrooms, the standard 1. Nice big bathrooms. Beds are comfy, and you can hear the sea at night! view is amazing, swimming pool relaxing and a nice little bar that does great cocktails and smoothies. There is also a launderette with is really handy. The beach is about a 5 minute walk away, and there are some restaurants and a couple of bars nearby. There is a bus stop at the end of the road on the roundabout where you can get a bus to other places on the island, We will definitely stay here again next time we visit. A very relaxing stay.
We've just returned from the most relaxing and enjoyable week at Apartamentos Curasol. Curasol is in the perfect location, quiet with beautiful views of the bay and the Spar supermarket and plenty of restaurants and bars just a 2 minute walk away. We were a group of 4 adults with 3 apartments booked. All staff were excellent. Friendly and so helpful in making sure our 3 apartments were next to each other ahead of our arrival. The apartments were clean with comfy beds and kitchens stocked with everything you need for easy self-catering. All 3 terraces had sea views and lots of space. The pool area was the best! Amazing views, plenty of sun loungers and even a VIP area if you book a premium apartment. One of our group celebrated a birthday during our stay and had a bottle of bubbly delivered to their door - a little gift from Curasol. We loved our stay and would recommend these apartments to any of our friends and family!…
We have just returned from a 16 night stay at Curasol. We arrived during the COVID restrictions but it did not stop us having a great holiday, everyone seems to be compliant with mask wearing and hand sanitizers (which were available in the hotel) and we felt totally safe. We paid for a premium room and were able to choose our room, Leonardo Da Vinci. We swapped to this room as it was bigger than the one first allocated, which was lovely but a little small for a 16 night stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful and met our requests without any issues. It was my 60th birthday while we were out there and we were given a bottle of bubbly which was a nice touch! The room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable and I had the best nights sleep, helped by the sound of the sea! Large bathroom with a great shower. We cooked on some occasions and found all the utensils needed. The views from our balcony were incredible and we ate breakfast out there every day. We also sat out there with a drink some evenings which was so relaxing. The cleaners work really hard to keep the standards high and were cheery and friendly. The pool area is relaxing and we made use of the Bali beds. Lovely cocktails are served at the pool bar, and food. It was open between 10-4pm while we were there. I made use of the laundry room which was handy. All in all, a fabulous place to stay and relax, easy to get buses into other areas, a couple of restaurants were open and the spar and the local beach was heaven. We were sad to go home! Thank you for a lovely holiday! We will most definitely return to curasol.…
Hi, Visited for my 60th views out to sea from room 309 were fantastic. The rooms are very basic, however the staff are constantly on the go and exceptionally clean, Admin staff are superb. The location is so peaceful, just what I wanted and if you needed a short bus journey to other bigger and busier towns. Had a wonderful time, pool and jucuzzi are wonderful and with the way all the staff treat you, made for a fantastic break and looking to go back when I can😍 However need for some thought, charging for sun brolly for the balcony being asked to pay for mattresses at the poolside and areas chained off for superior guests(never saw any) doesn't look pretty. Many Thanks James C plus 1
We had 3 rooms apartment in 5th floor, was even 2 bathrooms :) Now in February. Apartment was nice and cozy. Only is that beds are really hard, but i guess that is normal many places in spain. We had breakfast, added in picture :). Not wow but totally okay :) Even some bubble wine, and staff is really friendly and nice. We was on spanish buffee on friday with live music, that i would really recommend.
I have just returned from one week of heaven at Cura Sol. Amazing place, quiet, spotlessly clean and such friendly staff. The apartments have everything you need. There are a couple of restaurants in the village (2 min walk away) and a well stocked Spar shop. There are frequent buses from the village to all the major towns/beaches. The pool area was perfect and not too over crowded. The weather was so good we swam every day. It was our first time to visit, but definitely won't be the last. Take it from four exhausted, stressed out Irish ladies who have returned to Dublin in a Zen-like state of bliss :)
There is always kind and nice people in the reception, and the whole hotel is both nice and clean. We have stayed in different rooms and they are all nice. The sea view from most rooms is very nice, and the best way to wake up to in the morning, and likewise in the evening, then it is lovely to hear the sea and see all the lights from all other hotels and houses in Playa de Cura. We love this place.
