This hotel is close to the airport and highway, so it's a perfect little stop over spot! The room (#12) was clean, and the only thing "wrong" was the back of the toilet seat wouldn't stay up and would rest on your back! I would suggest having ceiling fans installed or pedestal fans in the room. There can be some...

Very nice, quaint hotel, very reasonable prices and very nice people. The view was beautiful, we were so glad that we found this little out of the way hotel. Relaxing and quiet after a busy day, make a reservation for the dinner meal. Say yes to the meal prepared in the evening, BEST FOOD IN COSTA RICA, $25 per person...

From our initial greeting at the front desk from Luis, who was extremely friendly and helpful in getting us checked in and situated in our rooms, to the fond farewell from Elizabeth we felt completely welcome at this great unique hotel located up on a hill outside San Jose. It is a bit challenging to find without a GPS but...

This is a quaint hotel with very friendly manager and staff. The rooms are old fashioned, but spacious and comfortable. There are cabanas outside each of the lower rooms close to the swimming pool. Breakfast was included and food was plentiful and tasty. I stayed for the dinner and that had dew choices but was very good. They served a...

Due to a delay of our flight we arrived 2 days later then planned. We got the suite room because of this fact. Very nice gesture of the hotel owner! We loved the super size beds and the hot shower. Very quiet pleasant stay, you didn't had the feeling to be in a big city. The price-value for money for...

Big private property in the middle of town. This beautiful small hotel has 12 rooms. They offer breakfast and dinner. Relaxing atmosphere with a pool in the middle and places to just sit and enjoy the surroundings. Rooms are very nice but there is no air conditioner. Excellent bilingual customer service. I would love to come back.

This is a great place if you want to escape the city without going to far. Take your S.O. here and enjoy a good night of something different and a nice breakfast the next day. It has a medium swimming pool, nice view and comfortable beds. Great experience.

This property is in the hills of Santa Ana about a 30 minute cab ride (approx $30) from SJO. The property and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are very spacious (some of the largest I have come across in Costa Rica) and the beds are uber comfortable. Each room has a generous patio area and all rooms...

My boyfriend and I just spent our first night in Costa Rica at the beautiful Hotel Posada Canal Grande. First the rooms: They were simple, but lovely. Beautiful tiled floors with wooden doorways and furniture, exactly what I picture when I think Latin America. The grounds were well maintained and the pool was incredibly inviting. There were swinging chairs and...
