My wife and I used to love staying at the hotel Candiles. However, it was sold to another company and while the rooms haven't changed much it is not what it used to be. It used to be that every aspect of the room was cared for and repaired. Now we found many scratches and abrasions on the furniture, not...

This was my first trip to Costa Rica, arriving in the Santa Ana area I was a bit hesitant as to what I would be getting (seeing the steel bars on all the doors and windows). We stayed here for one night and had a good experience. It's in a quiet location but still close to the airport, we had a simple but decent room, a nice balcony looking over the back patio and pool, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast!

We booked the hotel at a good rate through Hotels.com and their daily rate (we stayed an extra night and had to pay this is $95. When travelling we like to go to restaurants only...

Great value.. Full of privacy but close to the entertainment. The Staff is very kind and the multiple payment options are available. This is a very good option if you are looking for a quite place surrounded by nature but close to the city. Management seems to be investing more on their place and it also seems they are moving...
