All the basic hotel with all the necessary things that we need. We checked in quite late in the night and left quite early in the morning so we didn't venture much around the hotel. The hotel gave breakfast and it is a Japanese buffet style. Not much quality food in it.

The location is not in the ski resort but they do have shuttle bus for transport. The night staff in the front counter has really good english and very helpful as well. The hotel is near the town center so we have chance to walk around the area and see some of local shops, it was good experience.

The size of the room is expectedly small, understandable because the main purpose for most clients to spend time outside skiing. If you are not participating in that activity , it can be very boring because there is absolutely. Otho g to do in the hotel. The Onsen is very below average in terms of size. Breakfast closes at 9.30, we arrived at 9.15. The staff was being very impolite, not allowing us in at first saying breakfast closes at 9.30. Technically we had more than enough time to grab bread and coffee. He finally let us in but gave us the worst attitude ever constantly saying something in Japanese the whole time, that we cannot understand. But we could all make out by his gestures he was rushing us. That is not how you treat your clients. Very disappointing hotel.

Checked into this hotel as a stopover to Furano and at the same time for the melon buffet. Not much choice in this small town and nothing surrounding the hotel except Yubari Coal Museum which is approximately 5 minutes drive away from the hotel. Hotel room is in acceptable size but bathroom is rather small, hardly got space for you to stand in front of the basin. Buffet dinner serves crab and Yubari's melons, the hotel is generous on replenish the melons and each melon slice is in good size, sweet & juicy, can never miss. Forget about the onsen, it doesn't worth a visit.
