Traveling to Kidepo is an adventure in itself, but the moment you step foot into your cabana, you'll feel you're in such a special place! With soft breezes blowing through the rooms, authentic rustic designs in the showers and toilets and the broad, brilliant savannah spreading all the way to South Sudan from your room, it feels like such a unique spot on earth. Animals often come close to the camp and occasionally through it. The meals were way above average and cold drinks ever available. Accommodation in Kidepo ranges from the very highly priced Apoko lodge to government made bandas with zero view. This mid-range lodge though is absolutely stunning with the rocky out croppings, the view and the simple rustic homey feel and I feel it's the perfect spot to take in this unique fabulous National Park where you hardly see other tourist vehicles and it feels like it's you, the savannah and the wild life. Another big advantage is that because it is on the edge of the park, you don't start paying your 24 hour park entrance fees till you actually go on safari, as opposed to a lodging inside the park which would start your 24 hours before you were free to start to see anything.

We were at Nga'Muro late January 2019, for 2 nights at the beginning of our 21 days grand tour of Uganda. The staff was attentionate, the food was great, very tasty and the location amazing. Yes it is far for the city action, but so close to the animals, to the roots of this country. Special hello to Mr John who chatted with us at night around the camp fire. Highly recommanded.

My husband and I stayed there in November/December 2017 - Trip Uganda for 3 nights. We arrived after a long trip from Gulu and we were kindly welcomed by Oscar (the manager). Our chalet was spacious and comfortable, each chalet has a small terrace offering lovely views of the Narus Valley Savana and its lovely sitting outside under the incredible sky at night to see the sunrise. Just a short walk a couple of minutes from the chalet you can take a glass of wine or beer or eat dinner with your wine in the evening to see the sunset (very romantic) The food and service is excellent and was the best we´ve enjoyed on our 2,5 weeks traveling around Uganda, Oscar and his staff go out of their way to help you in any way they can. Kidepo and Nga´ Moru Wilderness camp was definitely a high point on our trip in Uganda and would recommend the experience to everyone!! Thank you very much to Oscar and staff for your great hospitality. HAPPY NEW YEAR 2018 TO YOU ALL! Beat Regards Janet & Jean-Jacques Oslo, Norway

Large cottages with spacious washroom to enjoy a nice shower after long and dusty game-drives in Kidepo National Park. Very tasty meals and kind staff. The manager, Mr Oscar, received us with a warm welcome and he was very helpful on anything we need. He has a deep knwledge on Kidepo National Park. We were two wildlife photographers enjoying a lot our stay here.
