We stayed for two nights at Tsutsuji-so in a lodge. It was quite a change from the western style hotels we stayed in so far. But we enjoyed our stay very much. Waking up in the morning with the sea next door, what's not to like :) Plus, it is conveniently placed next to a busstop, the yellow pumpkin and... More

We have spend 2 nights in a Japanese lodge. View from your room straight to the sea. With nice breakfast, and a wonderful BBQ dinner. Further you can reserve here a yurt tent, for bigger groups, or caravans for the camping experience. Next to a busstop and the Benesse complex.

There didn't seem to be many accommodation options when we were looking into staying on Naoshima Island. We looked into Benesse House which seemed quite pricey and then a friend recommended Tsutsujiso and we are so pleased that they did! We stayed there as part of our honeymoon and opted for a yurt on night one and then a cottage... More

the tents are nice, but the problem is that there is no breakfast or diner unless you pre order a few days in advance. there is also no shop and you can not cook in the tent. however it is really something different

I'm so glad I didn't spend up big on accommodation in Naoshima. This beachside chalet and yurt park has the best location on the island and is charming to boot. We rented a yurt for two nights during the post-Winter season. Thanks to a powerful heater and great bedding, we were comfortably warm. It would have been nice to have... More

Thank you very much for your review! We are delighted to learn that you had a great time :) As you pointed it out, no mugs in the yurt looks not so cool...we are thinking about providing mugs and tea inside the room in the future. Thank you again for your constructive opinion. We hope to see you again in... More

Stayed for 2 nights in October, the weather is pleasant and the island is almost empty which is delightful for us as I heard this island can be too crowded in other time. Two of us stayed in a yurt with a 4 beds in it, lots of space and it will be great when travel with family or friends... More

Having spent afew days in Tokyo it was such a contrast staying here.We arrived at Uno ferry by bullet train.and then caught the ferry across. We arrived at our ryokan like chalet just in time to see a glorious sunset..magical....we couldnt get a room in the benesse house, and upon reflection I think we had the better place!

The tents are very spacious and clean. The toilets and showers are quite far from the tents, which is not very nice and also not very clean. One has to pay 100 yen for a hot shower. Wifi is free up to 1 hour. This place is very close to the Benesse House and the art sights in the island... More

I stayed there for one night in a yurt and was disapointed by the dirtyness of the shower facilities, which is pretty unusal for Japan. Also, forget about dining there, as you need to book a diner 3 days in advance or wont be given even a sandwich... We had to walk to the next city, a few kilometers away,... More

We stayed in tent no 10 just next to the sea for 2 nights. Naoshima is amazing and this place is very good in the summer, were you Can take a swim after a long artifarty day. In our opinion 2 Nights was not enough to see and experience it all.
