I traveled thousand of miles all the way to Japan, and long ride to the hotel - to sleep on the floor (with mattress). haha.. but its a good experience. The toilet is very small... The air the fresh and cooling. They serve good all-you-can-eat buffet dinner that i can still remember how great it was. In the morning, we... More

Stayed here for the night while on a group tour. The day before was cold & foggy. We could see nothing on our cruise on the Lake Ashi. Dinner was good with a wide variety. There was also Alaskan crabs on the table. Each sitting was for an hour. There was at least 3 sittings. The hotel was jam packed... More

Love this hotel. It let people experience the Japanese living style. The view in the morning is stunning. I love it. Very relaxing. However, it is a bit far from town. The food at the cafeteria was OK. Not that variety of food. Staff was not able to communicate in English.

Super small room for Japanese tatami type room. Plenty of group tours especially China and Thailand. Buffet breakfast and dinner was lousy. Onsen is small and over crowded. Apart from the Best View of Mt Fuji at the restaurant, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed for one night with my tour group in standard room for 2. - Room was cozy with air heater and mattress warmer. - Bathroom amenities are fully provided with high quality product. - Buffet Dinner and Breakfast served plenty of food and taste was good as well. - Hotel's restaurant on upper floor was great with Fuji Mountain... It's popular among Thai and Chinese tourists. Having stayed at other onsen hotel, I would recommend tourist to pick other hotels. This hotel reminds me of those hotels that provide mediocre food, service and amenities for large tour group which falls below my expectation of an onsen hotel. Don't be fooled by the Alaska crab, it's frozen crab hence texture... More

The hotel has the best view to look over Fuji-san. It's good to stay for a night when you visit Kawaguchiko area. There is a free onsen in the hotel also. One weak point is that it's not easy to access from the Kawaguchiko station.

The hotel is Tourist friendly. There were 3-4 group tour checked in when we arrived.
